Benjamin was woken up by a hurried shake of his body. Groggily, he turned to look at who was waking him so roughly and saw it was Lucy, but she looked scared! Memories of what happened the previous day flooded into him mind and he immediately started feeling anxious. He got into his feet quickly as she threw him a jacket to wear. He did not mince with words as he wore the jacket and followed her out of his room through the window . When they landed on the ground, someone came round the corner and froze when he saw the two. Benjamin could see his windbreaker with bold capital letters written FBI!
"Hey you, don't move!" he shouted as his hand went for his holster. Everything else happened so fast for Benjamin but Lucy saw it well. His hands started shaking and with it cameb extraordinary heat. Then, a beam shot out of his hands and the agent together with the fence and a couple of walls behind him turned into nothing!
"Ben, we need to go, now!" Lucy shouted at him as she got hold of his hand and pulled him away. Benjamin was complaint and she dragged him to the back door. When they got to the alley behind their house, they found four more agents patrolling and they saw them too.
"You two, stop bef..." The three felt as if an invisible truck just ran them over, throwing them far away with lethal internal injuries. Benjamin looked at Lucy with shock written in his eyes.
"How did you...What just..."
"Right now is not the time, let's go," she said and continued dragging him away. He noticed she had put her car a little far from the house and started questioning if she had thought of that before hand. But, before they reached the car, they both heard a crash behind them and Lucy would have fallen if she was not holding Benjamin's hand. They both turned around and saw a large man with an inamate's uniform glaring at them. He was around 2.15m tall and looked like he never missed a single day of gym. The man did not talk to them but raised his huge right arm then brought it down, making the air scream because of the sheer force behind it. Lucy's face paled and stretched both her arms out and the man's fist hit an invisible wall but the shockwave made the road beneath them crack and tremble!
"A psychokinesis wall! You are a mutant too?" they both heard someone say from behind them. Benjamin turned to look at who just talked and saw a man who was standing on a lump of raised earth staring at them with fascinated eyes. As soon as Benjamin saw that, he felt his body change as he felt as if he was being attracted to the earth. He looked back at the large man then flicked his hand. A pillar made of earth shot from the ground and got hold of the man's raised arm. The earth solidified into hardcore rock, trapping the arm inside it. All three of them were surprised to see this.
"You awakened terrakinesis!" the man gasped. The big man struggled with all his might and broke free. He turned towards Benjamin with a growl and was about to punch out again but a car smashed into him and they both sprawled into a house. Lucy turned towards the talking man as he hair started defying gravity, making him feel a chil down his spine. He wanted to sink into the ground but a splitting headache made him fall to the ground, writhing and screaming!
"You come after my brother, you come after me!" she growled as the man felt the pain in his head increase to intolerable. Sweat was coming out of his body like was being drenched and with it came another fluid that stained his pants. Soon, blood was coming out of his eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Just then, Benjamin heard the roar of a truck coming their way and he turned around only to see a ten wheel car accelerating towards them. Benjamin stomped on the road causing earthquake level tremors and cracks that turned into crevices that swallowed the truck with no resistance.
"Lucy, let's go," Benjamin shouted out to Lucy who turned back normal and followed him into her car. They had unconsciously gotten into the wrong seats and now, Benjamin was driving the car and she realised that after they had already gone a few metres.
"Where did you learn to drive?" she asked him.
"I watched you drive yesterday," he said as if it was the most normal thing ever. Lucy thought he was being sarcastic but the way he drove was like he was born behind the wheels. Just then, a black SUV drove beside their car and the driver's window rolled down, showing two pissed off agents.
"Stop your car or we will be forced to shoot!" the driver yelled at them. Lucy looked at them and gave him the middle finger. The SUV slammed into an invisible wall that stopped it completely as the two drove off, not thinking about the men inside. Benjamin looked behind via the rear view mirror and saw a truck coming towards them, a soldier sticking out of the roof, an RPG aimed towards them.
"Shit!" Benjamin cursed and the situation really turned into shit!
"The road suddenly started waving around from the rear wheels, like waves about to capsize a cargo ship. The ground itself started cracking and trembling like something was trying to break out and it did! A four metres, four armed monster jumped out of the earth and landed in front of the truck and slammed it's huge foot onto the truck's hood, stopping the car and completely destroying the car's engine. Then, it raised one hand and the earth beneath the truck turned into a hole with spinning blades made of rocks that completely obliterated all the people inside the truck. Just then, a lightning as thick as a water bucket slammed into th monster but it did not stop it. The monster looked up and saw a black woman with white hair and eyes floating down towards it.
The monster roared at her as a sandstorm started picking up. The woman frowned as it saw the monster turn into sand too. Just then, dark clouds gathered above them as they stretched for miles! Benjamin looked up and saw the clouds and immediately, he felt his body become hot for a moment before he felt normal once again.
"What's with the weather?" Lucy asked as she looked up with a frown.
"It's a person controlling it," Benjamin said. "I can clear it for you." His eyes turned white and the clouds dissipated just as suddenly as they appeared. Lucy was surprised but the woman with white hair was shocked!
"Someone has atmokinesis!" she gasped and in her moment of bewilderment, a huge fist covering her whole body slammed into her and she was like a bullet out of a sniper rifle as she slammed into a house, disturbing a family that was watching television. The children and mother screamt as they jumped out of the way as the father tried to look for any weapon that can be used to protect them. The woman got up with a painful sigh but a giant foot descended into her from the ceiling, bringing with it despair in her heart but just then, a feral looking man got beside her and got hold of the descending foot. The man groaned in pain as he went down in one knee, web like cracks appearing on the floor.
"Logan, it's too powerful! Be careful," the woman said as she got up and stretched. A giant hand made of concrete suddenly shit from the floor and got hold of her and started squeezing the life out of her. A laser beam, just then, went through the giant foot and hand, freeing the two people who were about to reach their limits. A man wearing futuristic glasses got into the house and nodded at the two of them.
"I had it!" Logan shouted at the newcomer as metallic claws slid out of his clenched hands. As if mocking him, a huge hand appeared from the dust in the air and slapped him out of the building. Then, the newcomer found concrete forming on his feet before he knew something was wrong, he was stuck to the floor. A leg formed from the wall and was about to kick him to death but it dissipated into crumbles.
"Yeah, you better run away," Logan roared as he got into the house.
"Ororo, do you know what that thing was?" the guy with glasses asked.
"Yes. It was made by the mutant we were coming to protect. The SS were in him and he made it to protect him and his sister. They must have gone too far by now," she said.
"Clearly, we needed protection from him," Logan said as he looked at the glasses man who was still cemented on the floor.
