The girl went inside the stables and picked her saddle. She brushed and talked with Winnie for a while. She felt uncomfortable about what she was about to do. She had a bad feeling for some reason and couldn't set her mind to take off with the horse.
It was afternoon already, the girl decided if she was going to do it, it was better if she headed off before it was going to get dark outside, so she saddled Winnie and got up on his back. Then she marched towards the forest. Hostler Fu looked at the girl who went off riding in the distance, he was worried, she didn't seem alright today. Maybe she needed to let some steam out.
The girl started enticing the horse to go faster and faster. A mild pain started bothering her on her lower part of the stomach. She was thinking maybe its done.
In the forest the visibility was reduced, the dense trees were blocking the dim light of December. The dead leaves covered the ground completely. It was quiet, the cold air was getting stronger as night was settling in. The girl was thinking whether she had ventured to deep in the forest this time, when suddenly a trench appeared in front of her. There was not enough time to avoid it. Wei Wei was startled and she gripped tighter on the horse. Winnie was a trained horse, so he was prepared for any situation. A swift high jump later and the trench was left behind them.
When the horse landed from his jump, the impact was so powerful, that made Wei Wei hit his back forcefully. An excruciating pain took over her whole body instantly, she stopped Winnie from his race and grabbed her stomach. She started screaming in pain. The horse felt the girl distress and started neighing as well.
Wei Wei was trying to get off the horse, when she lifted herself up from his back, she felt the cold wind more closely on her behind. She touched her self and realised, that her trousers were wet. When she looked at her hand a dark dense smear was visible.
The girl started panicking, she was bleeding. She could feel the blood going down her legs. She got off the horse and sat down under a tree. The pain in her stomach was so strong, that she couldn't stand straight and was afraid to touch the ground.
She crouched and leaned on the tree, she took her phone out of her pocket and tried to unlock it, but it didn't work. She held the switch off button to restart it, but her battery was completely drained. She was fully panicked now, so she started calling for help, but nobody could hear her. She was terrified, what had she done. Her trousers were now soaked in blood. She sat slowly on the ground trying to calm down.
Her heart was racing in her chest, she took a deep breath and started screaming again from the top of her lungs. The horse was so agitated, that it went trapping back and forth. Winnie stayed beside her trying to comfort her with her head. Wei Wei pushed him away, he was too close to her bleeding body and she was scared. He was an animal after all.
Wei Wei looked at her hand watch, it was 4:45pm and she left around 3pm, she wondered how long she will have to wait, until someone realised that she hadn't returned. The girl decided to save her energy and not call for help anymore, it was pointless, nobody could hear her.
