The Pokémon rescuer profession is the basic pillar of the Pokémon community, the most powerful Pokémon who risk their lives to save those in need, who are always on the side of justice.
In the distant town of OakVille the profession was dying, since the last 20 years every rescuer disappeared misteriously without a trace, since then no one became a rescuer again...
Present Day
"Y'know, I was expecting a rock-type pair to be tougher" A Charmeleon said mocking to a Rockruff and a Shieldon who were trembling in front of him, "Now gimme your money! Unless you want me to burn your butt" He growled while opened his mouth to release an Ember.
"Stop that!" A shout was heard from the back of the Charmeleon, which made him look back and sigh annoyingly, "Well, well, well, If it isn't Zappy" he said at an Eevee standing behind him with an angry face, "It's just Jack for you, Charlie!" Jack answered at the nickname the Charmeleon used.
"I want you to leave those guys alone!" Jack added, which made Charlie laugh, after getting his breath back he responded "Really? And what if I don't wanna?", "You want to see it?" Jack challenged the fire type, Charlie chuckled and got prepared, "Sure Zappy".
Jack ran towards the Charmeleon, attacking him with a Quick Attack, which was blocked by the lizard.
Charlie countered with furious swipes, hurting Jack and causing him to fall, the Eevee tried to get up but he kicked him down again, "I really don't know why you keep trying..." the Charmeleon said kicking the normal type in the ground.
"I.... will always fight...!" Jack said weakly while trying to get up, "Against pokémon like you!" he finally yelled and ran towards Charlie.
When the Charmeleon tried to block him, the Eevee used Quick Attack and kicked him from behind, launching him to the ground.
The two rock-type pokémon approached Jack, "T- thanks for the help Jack! I didn't know you were that fast!" The Rockruff said amazed, Jack just chuckled, "Don't worry guys, but you should leave now, I don't think this is over..." he said while looking at the Charmeleon, trying to get up.
The two Pokémon nodded and left, after a minute, Charlie got up, looking extremely angry, and yelled "You really don't know who you are messing with!?".
The Charmeleon then charged against Jack, tackling him with the head and pinning him into a tree, the Eevee panted painfully as the fire-type laughed maliciously, he grabbed Jack by his mane and lifted him, "Now now, all alone, just by yourself, who is gonna save you?" Charlie asked mockingly, "Put him down, now" a voice is heard from behind them, the charmeleon looked back to find a Vaporeon, the look in her face, she was mad, "It isn's in my plans to water down a child, but I wouldn't mind changing it" the Vaporeon added.
"Tch, you are lucky that you mommy came to save you, twerp" Charmeleon groaned and dropped Jack on the ground, "Goodbye... Zappy" Charlie finally added and left.
The Vaporeon approached to the injured Eevee with a mad expression, Jack laughed nerviously at her as she helped him get up.
At some Oakville's residence
An Eevee was sat in a couch reading a book when a smaller one approached, "Mama didn't arrive yet?" the smaller Eevee asked, "No.. Not yet Brock, she's probably still looking for Jack-" the Eevee was distracted when the door knocked and their mother came back with Jack in her arms.
The two eevees gasped relieved as they shout in unison, "Mama!", The Vaporeon sat down Jack on the couch, she looked really mad, "What happened this time?" she asked with the same face, "H- he was trying to steal some mons money! I couldn't let him do that!", "and you decided to fight him again?" The Vaporeon asked abd after an exchange of glares and a nervous chuckled from Jack, the cold face of the water-type smiled relieved and spoke, "You are just like your father..." the vaporeon said and hugged her childrens"I'm happy that you are okay..." finally added.
