Leona's P.O.V.
After a hectic and tiresome day, I'm finally heading home at midnight. About closing the bar for the 'day'.
I heard a voice in the sparkling dark, "Dearie, would you spare this fellow a drink please?"
It was a thick Italian accent that made my heart skip a beat. I turned and saw a stunning man bent over in front of me. I could see his abs through his shirt that was drenched in sweat.
He looked up and our eyes met. I have never seen such a hot dude in my life. He looked as if he was an angel in his former life, except that he was badly wounded and had bruises all over.
His brown hair and his chocolate brown eyes mesmerized me. If I am dreaming, somebody, please wake me up before I commit sin! Mr Hot Stranger winced in pain, which caught my attention from checking him out, don't blame me, he is really hot.
I summoned up courage. "Um- um- I- I am sorry, b- but we are closed.", I stammered.
There was something that seemed off about him. Not only was he asking for a drink at this odd hour, but he also looked like a jelly worm pleading for his life.
He attempted to rise, but he fell back to his knees at every painful attempt. I kinda felt for the hot dude, because I had this urge to help him, but I could barely talk to him let alone touch him to help him up. I just had to ignore that urge till the worst happened…

My name is Leona Blair Williams I'm 22 years old and I've been through hell on earth. My parents died 10 years ago and left me in this cruel world alone to survive. My dad was one of the richest mafia bosses with a clan named, Tribu León (Lion Tribe). Out of the blue, we became bankrupt and had nothing at all to fall back on.
We were like survivors in a place we once owned. As a young girl, my life became a tragedy after witnessing my parents commit suicide, I didn't know what to do. I was so young and inexperienced not knowing what life held for me.
Luckily, an orphanage took me in saving me from the horror of the foster system. The people I needed the most abandoned me, my mother's sister never looked for me. The Mother Superior there took care of me like her own daughter and taught me the basics of life.
The only downside was that most of the kids never really liked me in the orphanage but that didn't matter to me 'cause I had a really wonderful best friend who I could proudly call a brother. I cherished him a lot.
It pained my heart when I heard that he was getting adopted but I was also happy for him 'cause he was getting into a family that loved him. Three years had gone by, yet I could still feel his absence. One day, I just felt something was off, but I couldn't lay my finger on it.
Then the news came that he had died with his foster parents in a car accident. The police report came later giving us details that a drunk was driving a van that hit their car beyond repair killing everyone and leaving no survivors.
I mourned him till the very day I left the orphanage. I was devastated, frustrated and sad to the core. I was not myself again and I couldn't bear the grief of losing someone I loved dearly again.
Once I turned 17, I made up my mind to be independent, since no one adopted me. By the time I left the orphanage, Mother Superior gave me funds and encouraged me to start a business of my choice.
That's how my life started, I studied really hard, then got outstanding degrees in Fashion and Business management. I strived to be successful and I'm now the owner of Thanatos Bar and Camellia Fashion Empire.

… back to Mr. Hot Stranger, I approached him to help but it was too late. The hot dude had spent his last energy pleading for a drink. He collapsed on me, but I was engrossed at that moment, the hot dude in my arms. Gosh! He is so weighty.
I looked at his closed eyes then I saw a scar that reminded me about my best friend.
I know he is dead, but he's still my bff. Leo George Rodrigo, that was his name.
I got myself outta 'the moment' and I called 911. They showed up in less than 5 minutes. I got into the ambulance with the hot dude, to the hospital.
I didn't believe this, me an ordinary dudette, sitting beside a hot dude? Felt like a dream I didn't want to end. The doctor walked in and interrupted my daydream.
He assured that the hot stranger would be alright, it was nothing serious, just minor injuries that would heal up if he doesn't stress himself and have enough rest.
I was happy that the hot dude was not in a critical condition or I would have felt really bad, cause I didn't help him initially when I had the chance. All the worrying got me exhausted and I fell asleep.
