Chapter 3 - To The Kingdom

" Are you alright ? " The lady asked as she stood in front of the woman extending her hand.

From a glance, anyone can tell that she is a lady of noble descent.

" Y-yes, " The woman said as she stood up, holding onto this mysterious noble woman's hand.

" Fetch me that killer, Sir Norton. " The noble woman calmly spoke, not moving her eyes from the woman. A tall man in armour went towards the killer.

" Are you hurt anywhere? " The noble lady asked in a sweet honey-like voice, her face holding a delicate yet sweet expression. The difference between her sweet voice and her cold expressionless face left the woman agast.

" N-No... " The woman spoke, feeling a little intimidated.

The noble lady just shot a man twice and made sure to capture him alive by impaling both his shoulders with the arrow. Her grasp was so firm. But, she is of such little stratus !!!!

" I am glad to hear that. " The lady spoke calmly, finally letting go of her hand.

"Sir Norton, I trust you with the task of making sure that the man does not slither away until we reach the kingdom. " The lady spoke, finally breaking the intimidating eye contact as well.

" Don't worry, My Lady. I will make sure to keep him in a firm grasp. " The armoured man spoke in a very deep voice.

' What is going on? Where are these people headed to ? ' As she thought as she heard their conversation.

" You. " The noble woman looked at her once again. " What is your name ? "

" Huh.. O-Oh yes.. M-my name is Stella. " The woman stammered

" And your last name ? "

" I-I am an orphan so I don't have a last name. "

" Miss Stella, you will have to accompany us to the Sun Kingdom to testify that this man is a killer so that justice can be served. "

" B-But my lady... This is the Sun Kingdom...

" What? "

The look of baffel was the first emotion seen on the noble lady's face. But, is she even a real noblewoman? What kind of noble doesn't know where they are going ?

" Are you trying to mock me ? " The lady said as her gaze darkened. How can someone soo majestic look sooo dangerous ?

" N-NO, My Lady !!! This is the Sun Kingdom. I am a citizen of the Sun Kingdom myself. " The woman spoke, trying her best to make sure her head was not chopped off.

" There are no gates or guards to protect the boundary. You really expect me to believe you ? "

" A-All of that was recently put down as our emperor thought it was a waste of money and resources. The Sun Kingdom is the biggest Kingdom in the continent so nobody would dare attack the kingdom. T-thats why there is no boundary here anymore. T-The only wall up is at the capital. " The woman somehow muttered the words as she quivered in fear.

Upon hearing those words, the noblewoman went into a state of deep thinking. After a few moments, she smiled !!!!

' What a beautiful sight. '

" Very well, then you shall accompany us to the capital to testify. " She said in a kind voice. Her smile almost blinding.

" B-but-"

" You will be talked care by me as you will testify under my name. "

" O-oh... Okay... I-It will be a pleasure... M-my lady. " The woman doesn't even know who this noble lady is, she saw her subjects referring her to as my lady and used that.

" I am Veneesa Des Flazear. And you are under my jurisdiction until you testify for the crime of attempted murder committed by this man. "

' Flazear ? ' That name rang a bell. Stella has definitely heard the Flazear. But, which noble family was it ?

" I suppose your silence is an affirmation for agreement ? "

Stella was lost in thought, the question snapped her out of her mind.

" Yes, Lady Flazear. I will accompany you. "

" Very well. Have some water and some sweets when you are seated in the carriage. You must be terribly anxious. Take time to calm yourself down. "

" Wah- ... Th-Thank you Lady Flazear. You are really kind. "

Soon, everything calmed down. Stella sat in the same carriage as Lady Flazear. The killer was with the guards.

The extravagance of the carriage was enough to tell anyone that it belonged to a very prestigious family.

The family crest on the carriage had a dragon. Only very few and extremely critical families can have a dragon in their crest. All of this was enough for Stella to understand not to get on the wrong side of this lady sitting in front of her.

' To think such a high and mighty noble not only saved but is also comfortable to share a carriage with a commoner. How can someone be soo kind ?! ' These thoughts ran through Stellas head as her admiration for Lady Flazear touched the sky.

Of course, anyone in her place would have similar thoughts. Nobody who has seen the future could have ever guessed that the spark of the revolt that would take down the biggest kingdom could be started sooo easily.
