Sakiro walked though fallen vines and brush trying to find his way through the forest. "I'm making no progress. I feel like I passed this tree four times already." He said.
After a few more minutes of walking Sakiro felt something wrap around his leg. He looked down and saw a vine had wrapped around him. He tried to pull his leg out but it wouldn't budge. "What the." The ground below him caved in causing him to fall.
Sakiro fell about twenty feet and hit the ground with a loud thud. "OW!!" Sakiro yelled out.
"What the hell happened?" He asked.
Sakiro heard a quiet rustling from behind him. He turned around to face it. "Who's there?!" He asked.
"Go away! Leave this forest and never return!" It said to him.
"I can't." He replied.
"WHY?!" It asked in anger.
"Well, one: my friends are still in this forest, and two: I'm stuck in this hole with you!" Sakiro said with a cocky grin.
"Screw you!!" It said as vines shot out of the darkness and tried to grab Sakiro. Sakiro jumped to the left of the vines, dodging, and ran towards the darkness. "STOP!!!" A wall of vines shot out of the ground and stopped Sakrio from getting to it.
Sakrio jumped back before he could run face first into the vines. The vines slowly went back into the ground and a small green skinned girl walked out from the shadows. "Been a long time, hasn't it, Sakiro?" The girl asked.
"I should have known that you'd still be the guardian of this forest, Irika."
