Chapter 6 - Another World 6

Bachelor Parties.

What hell kind of bullshit nonsense is this kind of human torture invention. Sasuke internally though to himself as he watched Naruto's gang toast for the umpteenth time that night, the sole Uchiha in the room had long ago lost count.

He never liked drinking, even in their original Konoha, as it always inhibited his chakra control but he was even less inclined to drink in this new Konoha with this new Naruto who seemed even more dimwitted than the original, if that was even possible.

Sasuke's thoughts were mainly still focused on the recent fight he had with Sakura this morning. In lieu of yesterday's contentious meeting at the park, he'd wanted to let her parents and everyone else know that they were married but Sakura was still nervous that it would make their attitudes and opinion about her even worse than they were now, since he was this complete stranger and it would appear like she had just eloped one day without thinking with this stranger just because he was good looking.

"You can say you've known me longer than that!" He had furious exclaimed.

"But how would I explain it to my family?! As far as they are aware, they've witnessed all moments of my life even during my coma! When would I have possibly met and fallen in love with you? Much less married you!"

That last statement had triggered him. Sasuke didn't realize he had grabbed onto Sakura's forearms until he had her back pinned against the wall, with her wide fearfully stretched green eyes that looked up into his as he seethed against her lips: "You, Sakura Haruno, married me November 14th Year of the Red Hyacinth, during the reign of the Fifth Hokage. I picked that date because of it's an auspicious day for weddings in the Uchiha Clan-"

That triggered Sakura.

In a second, she'd broken free from the man's hold to punch him upside the head, causing him to let go of her entirely. She whirled on him in flurry of anger: "YOU chose it! YOU chose the date! YOU chose the marriage! YOU forced it on me! YOU made me your wife! I never had any choice in any of it! Now YOU want to assert your presence once again into me and my parents' lives without my consent!"

Sasuke could see Sakura was desperate to keep her tears restrained in front of him; he didn't have time to think of how to react because the girl quickly turned and ran into the balcony, escaping out into the village.

Sasuke had contemplated chasing after her but he had Naruto's stupid bachelor party to get ready for, which the blond buffoon had insisted he had to show up since he was Sakura's boyfriend and therefore already initiated into their friend group. Sasuke had somehow felt compelled enough by his connection with the other Naruto that he actually agreed.

Little did he know what a raucous night of drunk badinage and crude conversations he was in store for.

Sasuke watched with bored stoicism as Naruto actually held a "tournament" to determine who amongst his close friends would be the best man at his wedding.

Thankfully, Sasuke was not close enough to this Naruto to be a contender. The tournament games ranged from beer pong to arm wrestling (chakra was allowed) to wrestling to drinking contests to lobster fishing for some reason, and a whole bunch of other stupid games Sasuke was glad he didn't have to partake of.

With eyes closed, his arms crossed in front of his chest, and his chin pressed to his chest, Sasuke quietly sat in his chair near the corner whilst everyone else partied around him. By all circumstances, he looked like he was sleeping but in reality Sasuke couldn't stop reviewing his fight with Sakura.

Over and over again.

No matter how he thought about it, Sasuke didn't think he was asking for anything unreasonable. Her parents would have to find out eventually, wouldn't it be easier to just let it happen sooner rather than later? Also, it would put to rest all of the stupid 'loose women' comments Sakura was subjected to across the village by all of the older females that spread gossip like a pandemic.

Sasuke's thoughts also inevitably went back to the past, back in their world, when he first decided to marry the pinkette…

Sasuke skewered his katana viciously through the 27th shinobi today that was trying to arrest him.

With a vicious twist of his weapon, he straight disemboweled the masked enemy in midair, letting his entrails fall to the forested ground before he straight sliced the guy in half.

Sasuke Uchiha was fucked pissed.

He turned left and right, head darting around himself to dare anyone else to come and attack him again.

Realizing only then that everyone else had already been killed by him.

GAH!

Sasuke descended to a rocky mountain's base so that he could start hacking away at the rocky base.

Over and over again he slashed at the rocks, creating sparks with his speed and chakra filled force, causing a landslide to occur down the uninhabited slope.

More. He needed more things to hit. More enemies to kill. Anyone that dared obstruct his way in life, he wanted to eviscerate-

-because the one person he most wanted to kill he couldn't bring himself to kill.

Did he love Sakura or did he hate Sakura?

The katana slipped from his hold and Sasuke resorted to just punching the mountain with his bare fists.

He'd already taken her body an innumerable amount of times; he'd already gone to the ends of the world to secure her presence by his side; he'd already done everything, short of killing her again, to punish her for making him this obsessed-

-and yet he still felt unsatisfied.

Initially, he thought it was his desire to have an heir so he forced to take test after test, hoping each time there would be a positive result and yet- yet- yet…he couldn't even pretend to feel disappointment at each negative test.

It was like Sasuke was putting on a play for himself.

He just wanted any reason except the real reason.

Sasuke didn't even know how he ended up at the Mother Shine of the Uchiha Sanctuary but eventually he was against the strange pulsating smooth gray stone walls, previously buried deep into the mountain's base and both of his fists were bleeding with even the bone and tendons showing through where he had unwittingly destroyed the skins around his knuckles. His infused chakra had saved the core components of his hand so he was ultimately fine except for the excruciating pain.

But Sasuke was used to pain.

So he casually paid need heed to his hands as he scanned the mountain with his Rinnegan eyes and soon found the entrance, which was opened just like the two other sister sanctuaries he had found. With no other Uchiha to tell him the secrets of his clan, Sasuke had always had to find out everything on his own. This was no different.

Sasuke easily unlocked the shrine and soon found the main marital chamber, filled with rows and rows of deceased memorial plaques of the deceased, the majority of them paired with another by a red thread. Sasuke examined the countless scrolls around them and soon discovered how marriages were recognized and legitimized in his clan…

Back in Naruto's bachelor party, Sasuke opened his eyes to watch Naruto crown Shino as the final winner. A best man had been selected.

How long had it taken for him to decide to marry Sakura once he learned about the ritual and everything it entailed? A day? A week? A month? He had no idea. Time seemed to blur together when it involved the rosette but soon enough he was forcing her in front of the altar.

He knew the consequences should he ever regret marrying her, knew he would only ever be able to do this ceremony once in his life and yet he still went through with it anyway.

Afterwards, like immediately afterwards, as he plundered sweaty and needily into her body, Sasuke had felt a strange peace inside himself that he could no longer deny.

In present day, Sasuke closed his eyes as the memory ended.

Never one to know or obey social conduct, he left the party without a word before the final toast.

***

Sakura was already back home and in bed by the time he got back. He could easily tell she wasn't actually asleep but he also knew he should give her space and let her come to him when she was ready so Sasuke automatically resigned to sleeping on the uncomfortable sofa for the night.

***

Sakura on the bed was dealing with a different kind of dilemma, one inside herself.

She supposed because of how frequently pleasant their intimate life had been lately, she actually found herself craving Sasuke's touch. She tossed and turned, left and right, trying to push the feelings down but the more she tried to ignore them the more they bothered her. She thought about touching herself but the lock on her bedroom door was actually broken currently and she was too embarrassed if Sasuke randomly walked in on her…

In the end, Sakura decided to go get a drink of water, hoping it would douse the fires inside herself.

As she walked towards her kitchen, Sakura inevitably bypassed the living room because everything was so close inside her one-bedroom apartment. Her eyes uncontrollably fell onto Sasuke's side sleeping form on the couch. His eyes were closed as she couldn't help gawking at his beautiful visage.

Dammit.

Sakura could feel her core pooling with liquid moisture as she couldn't tear her eyes off of his sleeping form.

She felt even more angry at the man for the effect he had on her body.

He had to be so godfucking beautiful!

Perhaps it was his past heightened battle senses that awoke him in his slumber because soon Sasuke sat up, instinctively alert and ready to fight at whoever was watching him at night-

-only to be taken aback by Sakura's hot lips pressing against him as her body jumped over from the back of the couch to straight tackle him back down onto the sofa while her hands roamed ravenously beneath his navy-blue t-shirt.

"I'm still mad at you," Sakura whispered breathily against his lips after baring his upper half and tossing the garment somewhere off into the darkness. Not wanting to give him a chance to say any comeback or make a conceited witty comment, Sakura went back to devouring his lips while his hands joined hers in trying to push down the clothes of their lower halves.

Soon enough, he was encased inside her molten heat and Sakura was hungrily rolling her hips as their mutual groans sounded into the night.

By the time morning came around, they had gone four separate rounds, each one initiated by Sakura who placed her increased sex drive to her monthly cycle. As a medical-nin, she was well aware of the increased hormones during a woman's natural monthly cycle.

Sasuke had finished inside her each time last night (and really every time), but Sakura was not scared because she had already cast a semi-permanent contraceptive jutsu over herself that would prevent conception until she chose to undo it.

Of course she did not tell Sasuke about it, fearing his reaction, since he so wanted her to give him an heir currently.

An argument delayed is an argument avoided.

On the topic of arguments, Sakura in present time lied awkwardly on Sasuke's pectorals so that her ear was pressed right above his heart as she avoided looking up.

God she was pathetic.

No willpower.

She couldn't even last one night? What was she? Back to that insipid asinine Genin Sakura again?

As she felt Sasuke moving subtly beneath her, Sakura knew he was also awake. She slowly worked up the courage to confront him. He had to know that he could not assert his will over her again if they were in a reciprocal relationship.

Both spoke at the same time:

"Sasuke-

"I'm sorry."

What? Sakura's eyes were stretched to their max as her pink head shot up to meet the man's dark apologetic gaze.

He was being sincere! Sakura's jaw slightly dropped in her shock as Sasuke enclosed his arms around her bare back, making her breasts press flat against his chest.

"I'm sorry about yesterday," he repeated his apology, once more to Sakura's surprise. "I shouldn't have demanded something you aren't ready for. If you don't want anyone else to know, then they won't know."

Sakura seemed frozen in shock before him and Sasuke couldn't help laughing.

"No, you're not dreaming," he said while gently pinching her cheek. "I realized I was wrong yesterday at Naruto's bachelor party, I wanted to say sorry last night but I wanted to give you some space."

Sakura remained stock still in shock as he relocated her head against his chest, resting his palm against the back of her neck while holding her face with his other hand.

He rested his chin over her pate. "I really am trying to change for you."

Sakura felt a growing warmth inside her chest that radiated through to the tips of her fingers and toes at those words.

Slowly, ever so slowly, a small smile spread across her lips as she wrapped her arms around his bare torso.

Hi guys, I'm so sorry it took me so long to update. I know a bunch of you guys think I abandoned this story, completely understandable. I thought I had to but really unfinished stories give me anxiety and add to my already existing depression so I'm definitely going to make finishing all of my unfinished fanfics and stories for the rest of the year. Thank you guys so much for being patient with me. I know I talked before about asking if anyone would be interested in paying to read my work but I know I'm definitely not consistent enough with my publishing to ask any of you guys to give up your hard earned money right now. Just staying with me and this series for so long means so much to me. I love all my readers so much. I'm so sorry I have the unpredictable bouts of writer's block and depression at times that makes updating so hard.
