Lyte was sitting in the front passenger seat while his mother drove him to school. The music on the radio was on full blasts and his mother was humming to the cheery rhythm of the music. The day seemed to be the start of a perfect day, minus the nightmare Lyte had woken up to.
Lyte was dressed in his school uniform which he hated but had learnt to accept as part of a must in order to study. The uniform consisted of a pair of light brown slacks and a pair of black formal leather shoes. He wore a black long sleeved sweater over his white button up shirt and had a red tie around his neck. His hair that was messy that morning had been combed to be unrealistically tidy. Lyte was all ready for school, and he was not at all happy about it.
"I'll walk you to your classroom and tell your teacher why you're late," the mother suddenly spoke up which made Lyte who was distracted by his thoughts jumped a little.
