This author believes that she has already given a lot of information about our protagonist, but it's always good to untangle a little more. So today I'm going to introduce you to Hua Mulan.
Who is it?
Where did it come from?
What do you eat?
Well, to explain this, let's go back to before Mulan was sent to another world, when she was still a child and met a god. For her joy or her misfortune.
Yes, she met a god.
Didn't you believe that for a request placed so pathetically she would actually be sent back to the past? Whether they believed it or not, that's fine, because that's not the point of the story. But it sure was a turning point in our protagonist's life.
She was seven years old and at that moment was happily riding in the car with her parents. They were returning from a vacation from a farm near Beijing. It can and is cliché, but on a curve a truck was overtaking and did not see her father's car, the two men tried to swerve, but it was too late. The front of her father's car slammed into the wall of the road and her parents turned to soup.
The truck driver who had some conscience and managed to brake in time, took her out of the car before the car exploded from the engine collision. What saved Mulan from the crash was the safety belt she carried with her.
As soon as the highway authorities arrived, the truck driver lost the last of the conscience he had had when saving her and blatantly lied to the guards blaming the incident on her parents. From beginning to end Mulan didn't say anything, in fact she said something.
- Alcohol – That's what she said before being taken by the guardianship council. At the girl's words, the guards again searched the truck and its driver and discovered that he not only had bottles of alcohol in the vehicle, but that he was mildly intoxicated.
For the great psychological damage and mental stress that Mulan had, she was a good child. At first everyone thought she didn't know what death was yet, but she didn't even cry.
Mulan's family wasn't rich, they had some possessions, but they weren't rich. These possessions that were Mulan's by will was divided among her relatives and the girl who didn't cry at her parents' funeral was sent to an orphanage.
Apathy.
It was the name of the disease the girl was inflicting. She did not express emotions even when she was sent to the orphanage and totally abandoned by her family. The reason was simple, death made a mistake.
That's right, death made a mistake.
Mulan's parents weren't supposed to die, much less her, as a consequence Mulan's body was not harmed, but her soul left her body and was left wandering aimlessly.
By pure coincidence a god passed nearby and saw the child's soul wandering, thinking he was a good Samaritan, he gave the girl's soul to a spirit of death and asked to send her back to her body.
When Mulan returned to her body that she had been acting like a doll all this time she finally cried. She spent a whole week crying at the orphanage until all the tears dried up and she was lethargic again, this time not because she had no soul but because she was hurt.
It took years for her to recover from her parents' abandonment and death. At that time she dedicated herself to her studies and what she loved to "evaluate corpses" perhaps because of her experience with death. She majored in Egyptology but rarely went into the field of exploration. Her branch was laboratory. Facial reconstruction, dental arch evaluation and the like, if she wasn't so good at what she did she might even have become a doctor.
However, despite everything her life was very lonely which made her think several times about joining her parents. Until a stupid and meaningless request made her I ended up in another world.
That was the story of Hua Mulan. However, no one was interested in this story, but in the story that the princess invented.
"When the general was on the border the barbarians attacked and a village of a fallen noble family was dragged into the fight, desperate to save the sick parents and younger sister, a girl came forward with a sword in her hand and even unknowingly brandishing it. la fought the enemies of the country to save his people. Unfortunately the general could not save all the villages dragged by the disgrace of the attack and when he arrived to stop the barbarians there was only one girl with swords in hand in the village and everyone else was dead."
"With the sight of the young woman wielding a sword and covered in blood, Zhang xian fell in love at first sight and decided to take her to the capital and asked the emperor's permission to do so." "Forgiving to the girl who had lost everything and moved by the general's love, the emperor granted them both marriage and wished them peace and prosperity."
A brave young noblewoman and a valiant general. A pair made in heaven. Who wouldn't like this love story?
The commoners loved it, the young people in the capital envied Mulan, the young people in the capital stayed Interested in Mulan and the two empresses in the palace nearly died. Both were planning to use bad rumors to force the marriage to fall apart, but Princess had been quicker and soon the entire country had learned of the general's romance.
It was beautiful for all, beneficial for some, a headache for others, a prison for Mulan.
The god she knew took pity on her loneliness and sent her to save the world and in return would give her a family.
- Go all to hell! – She cursed in English – Wasn't it enough that I lost my family? Will I lose my freedom too? Hong!
She screamed and the dragon came to answer her.
- Help me out of here! Now! – She said – I don't want to get married! I don't want to save the world or whatever bullshit I asked for, I was drunk! I want to go home!
She sat up and cried in a fetal position on the bed.
Hong looked at the crying human and for a moment he almost wanted her. However that was not up to him.
He just watched the human crying and with him the princess on the other side of the door who had been following Mulan's suffering closely. I wish they could help her.
Meanwhile, inside the imperial palace three of the most powerful women in the empire were conspiring. The three of them wanted Mulan's head served on a silver platter, each for different reasons but a common goal.
Send Hua Mulan to hell.
