Eden was taken away by Stacy and Voyde back to the 9th precinct. Valefar looked upon the returning officers who arrived at the scene. The shadows were called upon from Hell via the Hellfire telephone and they tied Chance together with black orange fading rope by the time they had arrived. To Chance, the rope was as hard as steel as he felt his bones pressed against his flesh.
The officers of the MPD soon called in the cavalry of their fellow boys in blue into the area. One officer managed the traffic, tens of others blocked the passage of the street with their police wagons. Valefar approached the tied up Chance, with the hellish Shadows standing by the Haverton's side.
