That freaking day finally arrived.
The day where I got to stand in front of Luke in a bikini.
Actually, it's not a big deal because I've been in front of a lot of guys, half naked.
But, it's not just any guy we're talking about here.
It was Luke, asshole, playboy and dick of the century.
I sighed for the hundredth time as I stood in front of my closet, scattered.
I couldn't find a perfect bikini. They were either too flashy or too dull, too tight or too loose.
"Just choose one, woman!"Ivy yelled at me. She was already in a blue bikini.
It has lines and made it look like it was tied to her body. She wore a shirt and shorts as cover up.
"The boys are ready." She announced.
We were all getting dressed in my house. It was Luke's idea since my house was obviously the biggest. Then after dressing up, we would leave for the party together.
"Haha!" I fished out an orange bikini. "You were hiding, but I found you."
"Crazy!" Ivy yelled after me as I ran into the bathroom.
I came out a few seconds later with my hair packed in a very high ponytail making me have the Ariana Grande style.
I walked out and said to Ivy,"How do I look?"
Her mouth hung open in silence.
"Ivy?" I snapped my fingers across her face.
"Huh?" She moved out of her daze.
"How do I look?"
"Are you trying to get laid by Luke?" She asked and I gasped.
"Ivy!"
"No offense,I only said that cause you look hot."
"Girls! We're ready!" A voice came from downstairs. I threw on a shirt and shorts similar to Ivy's.
"You've got all we need?" I asked Ivy who was busy tapping her phone.
"Yep," she raised a small bag up to my sight. I grabbed a hat from the table and we walked out of the room.
I saw Luke in a black shirt with blue shorts. Scott was in a blue shirt with black shorts.
"Let's goooooo!" Luke led the way to his van. I could tell he was really excited.
Scott and Ivy chose to sit in Luke's extension of what he called home while I sat in the passenger seat.
Luke was driving with a wide grin on his face.
"Why are you so happy?"
"I grabbed protection," he smirked.
My face turned red and I swatted him on the chest.
Even I could tell that was a weak attempt.
"You're just looking for an excuse to touch me," he smiled.
I totally gave up on him and I stayed silent the entire ride to Evans.
It was just one in the afternoon and the place was already filled.
Half naked teenagers were already in the pool,on the
loungers, everywhere.
As soon as we got out of the van, Lucas came running to us. He was only in black and white shorts.
One part of the short was white while the other was black.
"Guys! So glad you could make it!" He hugged all three of them.
"Hey beautiful," he bowed in front of me.
"I just wanna say, I was forced to come here." I said and walked off with Ivy.
We found some empty loungers by the pool. Ivy and I sat while applying sunscreen on each other.
"You know,I think Luke likes you." Ivy said, letting her hair fall loose on her shoulders.
"He's a player,he likes everybody." I replied.
I reached over to our bag and brought out two sunglasses. I handed hers to her and sprawled out on the lounger with my glasses on and the hat on my head.
I was about to close my eyes when a figure walked up to me.
"Hi," he said.
I exchanged glances with Ivy.
"Do I know you?" I removed my sunglasses to see his face clearly.
He had about the same build as Luke. Hazel eyes, pink lips and brown hair. Cute, I observed.
"No," he muttered. "I'm from Coltadore High. The name's Greg."
"Nice to meet you. What can I help you with?"
"I was hoping you'd tell me your name too."
"It's.."
"And who are you?" Luke interrupted rudely as he came into view.
"Greg." I spoke up for the guy.
"I wasn't talking to you!" He snapped rudely.
"I'll see you later,". Greg turned and left.
"That was rude." I turned to Luke.
"Are you cheating on me?" He crossed his arms over his chest.
"Yeah," I collected Ivy's shirt and shorts into our bag. She was going into the water with Scott.
"Let's go in," he nudged me.
"I'm not ready," I slipped my glasses on and closed my eyes, letting my thoughts be focused on Julian.
I realized that I haven't actually talked to him since he broke up with me.
I pulled out my phone and dialed his number.
"Hello." That familiar voice came from the other end. That voice that I cried endlessly for.
"Hi Julian," Ivy's eyes widened when she heard what I said by the poolside and Luke raised an eyebrow at me.
"He.. Hey Tess," he stuttered.
"Can we meet to talk?" I asked.
"Yeah,sure."
"Pizzaria on Monday? After I'm done with school?"
"Okay."
"Bye," I sighed, disconnecting the call.
"What the hell! I thought you were done with him!" Luke yelled at me.
I pulled my shirt over my head and removed my short, stuffing it into the bag. The hat and sunglasses too.
"Wow," Luke drooled. He was digging holes into my body with the way he was staring at me.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer," I said as I got into the pool.
"You didn't wear see through," he pouted.
"You're noisy," I swam around.
"Should I come in?" He smirked.
"I don't care."
I stopped in front of him as something popped into my head. "Today's the last time we'll be talking,so make the best of it."
"Last time?" He was clearly confused.
"Remember the deal?" I reminded him.
"You're seriously dwelling on that?"
"Yep," I said, popping the 'p'.
"You're really different," he sighed.
"I am, I know," I swam around in the pool.

"So,my father sent you to give me a dress?" I asked, staring at the old man in front of me. He was too old to be working.
"Yes miss. He wants you to attend a dinner party in his stead in this dress." He pointed to the red sparkly dress he had just given to me. "Along with this letter."
"He couldn't even call me?"
"He's busy with work. Then I'll take my leave." He turned on his heels and drove out of the compound.
He's busy with work?
They can't even take some time off to visit their daughter?
"You have to go,"Ivy advised me. "At least to prove that you are not like them."
I actually took that into consideration as I drove to a large banquet hall in the far side of the city.
I got out of the car and handed the keys to one of the men I had seen outside.
The interior was a typical dinner hall. After introducing myself to the hosts, I helped myself to some food.
After eating, I just looked around bored. I drew imaginary lines on the floor with my shoes.
"Dull party, isn't it?"
I looked up to see a very cute guy towering over me. He wore a black tux with a white shirt and a black straight tie. His dark hair was brushed backwards.
"Yeah," I cracked a smile.
"I'm Julian Mendes," he extended his hand.
"Tess Harvey,"I took it.
We hooked up. I was so thankful that I listened to Ivy and attended that dinner. Julian was a really nice guy even with our age difference.
He was attentive, cool, calm and collected. He was and still is a great guy.
Even though he doesn't really get along well with Scott,we were still cool.
He didn't just date me for sex. We dated cause we liked each other.
He seemed sincere and nice.
Just like my first love.
He was also nice, attentive and calm. We complimented each other but, I guess we're not meant to be.
That's life.
The moment you perfect with someone, they just grow distant.
You'll wanna go crazy but they'll be fine.
