CHAPTER FOUR
DANIEL'S POV:
The next day I went to her parent's house. I knew in advance that they would never agree with my terms of giving their daughter to me that's why I went with a solid plan so that they can't refuse me in any condition at all.
Reaching the front of their house, I pressed the doorbell and after some time they both came, Mr. Parker opened the door and greets me with a smile and so does me but there was this awkwardness between us but was completely ignored.
I wanted to leave the best image of me in their mind.
Welcoming me in their house, I go and sat on the chair. Mr. Parker and her wife both came in after me. Mrs. Parker offered me a cup of tea that I received.
We all started to talk about random stuff, about the current situation of Government and other things.
For some time, the room retained its silence which was broken by slightly nervous Mr. Parker. "Look, Daniel, we've accepted our mistake of 50 years ago. It's in the past, it was also 'her' who misguided us, right?
Since we have already settled this problem, is there a reason for you to come meet us today?"
I smiled, trying to lessen their nerves, "Don't you worry, Mr. Parker. Today, I am not here to talk about the past. What has done, it's done. There is no point in mulling over it."
Mrs. Parked sighed in relief and asked, "Then what might be the reason that King of Vampires has personally come to meet us?"
I smilingly look towards them, "Well, it might sound odd and suspicious but your daughter, Jamima, was found to be my mate and I am here to take her!"
Horrified, they both look at each other. Seeing their dismayed expression, I smiled internally. 'It's just the beginning Parkers. Wait, as more surprises will be coming in your lives!'
"Impossible! Jamima, is your mate? How are you so sure that she is your mate?" Said Mr. Parker with a frown on his face.
"Oh, please~ Mr. Parker. You and I, both know what it feels like when you are close to your mate. I mean, you, yourself, should be able to tell, right?"
Gritting his teeth, Mr. Parker said, "Let's say we believe you. But will you assure us that you will not let her come in any harm's way?"
"Well, then give me six months, if she did not agree to stay with me after these 6 months, I would leave her and will not force her to stay with me again. So... What do you think?" I said, looking straight into their eyes that seem to look to escape from reality.
"But-..." they tried to say something but this time I interrupted, "Look, Mr. Parker don't let me force you because you also know, that we vampires can do anything to be with our mates, and if someone tries to stop us, the result would not be so~ good."
Their heads were hung down and were contemplating about the current situation, "At least, I am a better option than the guy, Danny. Don't you think, Mr. and Mrs. Parker?" I said while taking a sip from the cup.
