The city, or rather, what was once a city, was now in ruins with flames carpeting the buildings, incinerating them into ashes. The roads, destroyed as if an earthquake had occurred. But what surprised and shocked Raudra wasn't this scene of chaos but the silhouette of a man in sky, flying, with fire engulfing his hands which made him look like a higher entity from a distance.
"Now suffer, you puny ants, the wrath of lord Astratoth, your GOD!" the man was laughing like a maniac while raining fire on the buildings, making the already chaos stricken city more and more chaotic.
Screams of people and low growls of animals echoed in the air. Cold sweat ran across Raudra's forehead when he saw this. 'What the hell! This isn't true, no it can't be.' He refused to believe albeit seeing the chaotic scene in with his own eyes.
As these thoughts were running in his mind. The ablaze entity, Lord Astratoth looked in his direction.
His eyes strained as if they piercing Raudra, engulfing him in fear, as he saw Astratoth coming towards him at a high speed. Kilometres were covered in seconds as Astratoth arrived in front of Raudra, his brows furrowed, as he sized him up.
The heat became unbearable for Raudra as well as the girl. Her face paled as she took steps back with fear imprinted all over her face. "Another inheritor? But… he has no overbearing energy. Whatever, it's better to just eliminate the threat be it strong or weak" as Astratoth was talking to himself he made a grabbing motion with his hand, as if pulling at the very air. But when he completed his motion, the nearby window as well as the lights inside the girl's room broke as she was flung back while coughing blood. Raudra blasted off too, but in direction of Astratoth, instead.
There was less than some inches gap in between them as fire burned in Astratoth eyes. His eyes, penetrating Raudra. "Strange. He has aura but no power. Let's enjoy now, shall we?" Astratoth grinned.
'D-decimator hey! Where the hell are you? This psycho will kill me' unfortunately, but to no surprise of his, he received no response, and he sank deeper in despair, when suddenly a scorching fist punched him straight to the body. He was sent flying but strangely he didn't fall but remained floating in the air, seemingly hovering. "Hmm at least you have a good physique" as if experimenting, Astratoth struck Raudra again, this time harder than before.
Raudra flew out like a kite with broken string as he coughed up blood. Without a moment of rest Astratoth again arrived in front of him and punched him to the ground.
Raudra coughed broken bits of his organs as he gasped for breath.
"Cough, Cough… leave me alone, what did I do to you?" Raudra asked while trying to stand up, but his bones seemed to be broken all over body.
"Blame yourself for your inheritance being trash, now die you puny ant."
Astratoth laughed while he conjured a flame spear in his hands. He stabbed it towards Raudra's heart.
"Urgh" dense pain filled his body as the spear pierced him in his heart.
His was losing consciousness from pain and blood loss. 'Am I going to die like this?'
As these thoughts rushed in his mind he heard an angered voice. 'You can't be my inheritor with such weak willpower.'
'Hey Decimator King help me. Or I will die like this' he seemed to have seen a light in darkness and tried to grab on the only hope in this peril.
'It's better if you die than seek my help you coward.' the king seemed to be angry as if he couldn't bear seeing any inheritor of his powers pathetically asking for his help, in such a desperate way.
'Think about it you fool if you die then what will happen to your family and friends?! Huh? This Astratoth will kill them too and in a more terrible way than how he is killing you.'
'I won't let it happen! No one can harm my family and friends.' With this thought, dense anger filled his mind as he struggled to get up.
He grabbed the flame spear, which was burning him like a barbeque. He tried to pull it out but his body was not strong enough now that he was so seriously injured.
But this didn't make him feel helpless, he was getting more and more angry, over his inheritance, over his weakness and mostly on the dog sh*t crazy Astratoth in front of him.
As his anger reached a bottleneck and was taking over his rationality something seemed to snap inside his head as large amounts of information flowed inside with some bloody scenes and wails.
As the chaotic flashback came to an end a voice filled his head, his body, and every inch of his being.
'Rage…. The rage which burns in the blood, the Rage to slaughter.'
Raudra opened his eyes with a roar which were bloodshot from rage. The only thing that was in his mind was to kill Astratoth.
badump badump
A sound of flowing water started emerging Raudra being its centre. Astratoth stopped in his tracks as he used his ears to hear and find direction of this water flow, which sounded like a river. He turned back as he furrowed his brows at Raudra. 'This sound it's… don't tell me..' He was horrified as a dense murderous intent spread out in his surrounding which even made his flames seem cold. "It- it's your blood." He stuttered as he came to realization that this sound of water flowing was actually Raudra's own blood flow.
Raudra slowly stood up as he threw the flame spear aside. His locks began to float and the ends of his hair and fibres alike seemed to be tinted in crimson, as if the blood itself emanated an aura so dense it rose to the clouds. He walked slowly towards Astratoth muttering to himself "An anger for others….. An anger upon oneself… an anger for gods… an anger which ends in blood…. An anger which makes you.... A DEMON"
At the end of the chants his eyed glowed with red light as if in process of comprehending something. "Now I understand!"
Raudra looked at Astratoth trembling in front of him. "My turn. Extinction style, blood arts… BLOOD RAGE!"
Raudra's power exploded forth as he shot off from the ground at lightning speed and punched Astratoth.
The punch landed, but instead of pushing the body back, his stomach exploded from the sheer force of punch as he seemed to be blasted away by the aftershock.
Raudra didn't chase after him but looked at his fist which glistened with a red hue around it. The blood on the ground stimulated his anger more as he shot after Astratoth.
Astratoth appeared miserable but his stomach which had previously exploded now was replenished by his flames.
His back had flame wings which flapped and he exploded forth confronting Raudra. The pressure from Raudra's feet kicking in air was so high that he was moving at a speed as if flying.
His veins bulged as he punched the space in front of him. A heavy pressure descended upon Astratoth which made his wings rip apart and he began to fall towards the ground.
"Why don't you laugh now? C'mon laugh now, it's no fun."
Dust blew apart as Astratoth was smashed to the ground.
Raudra followed him slowly floating in the air above the pit where Astratoth was buried.
Suddenly from the midst of dust, a ray of light converged and fell on Raudra's shoulder. Instead of groaning in pain his expression became more frenzied. The wounds began to heal at a pace that could be traced with the naked eye.
"Do you dare harm this king?"
Raudra grabbed Astratoth's shoulder and ripped it apart with bare hands. The whole shoulder tore off with blood gushing out as Astratoth's anguished groan echoed "Aahhhhh! Leave m-me…. I d-don't want to die yet!" despite him begging for mercy Raudra's expression didn't change as he grabbed the other shoulder and ripped it apart.
More and more anguished wails wrung in the air which could make chills run down any passer-by's neck.
Astratoth's face had paled considerably as his expression twitched uncontrollably in pain.
But the twisted expression of Raudra from anger wasn't infected in slightest as if he was possessed.
He grabbed Astratoth's leg and slammed him continuously on the ground. The wails suddenly stopped as if his body sensed the threat of death, his whole body burst out in flames as he escaped from Raudra's grasp.
"Ahhh! My soul flame, Even if I die now I will drag you with me. Now DIE!!"
A huge blade made of flames appeared in his hand which seemed as if piercing the heavens. It slashed down at Raudra, but his expression was frighteningly calm as if it wasn't anything but an ants struggle.
"Looks like this wasn't enough for you…. Blood arts! Blood domain! Descend!"
A red domain descended around Raudra which reddened the whole sky and earth seemingly painted with blood.
At this time the flame blade was in front of him but he just grabbed the blade as if catching a stalk of grass.
Astratoth laughed at this action 'Hmph fool, this is my soul flame, now die.'
But the scene he imagined of blood splashing never occurred. The blade was held firmly in Raudra's grasp as he smirked.
The blade broke in two with a bit of power from his palm.
At this moment Raudra pointed in direction of Astratoth. With his movement numerous crimson chains emerged from ground and started binding Astratoth.
"Good Riddance." Raudra grinned as he clenched his palm into a fist. The chains also begin to get tighter with his motion.
"Nooooo!!!!!!."
As Astratoth screamed his soul out, the chains tightened so much that his whole body exploded. This time he was dead for good and without even a corpse.
As Raudra turned back he suddenly felt his body numbing, and he fell to the ground, unconscious.
