Gu junjie looked at the woman and explained, "she is my cousin. Qin weishang's wife. Don't think anything negative, your pinch is still hurting," he chuckled and let go of her before giving her her phone.
"Get in the car. If you want to go back home using a cab, just prepare a hospital bed for that driver," gu junjie went to the driver seat and take out his car keys before unlocking it.
Huang zhilan was still stunned by his explanations and when she glanced at wang qingge and qin weishang, she realized thst qin weishang have one hand on her shoulder and the two was walking back to the company. Realising that she have misunderstood, her face reddened. She quickly boarded his car and buckled her seatbelt with a blushing face.
Gu junjie chuckled at her hehaviour and started driving.
"Where do you want to go?"
Huang zhilan was fanning her reddened face and her chest was beating fast. When she heard him, she could hear him teasing her. "She is really your cousin?" Instead of answering, she throw a question to him.
Gu junjie hummed and his smile was still remaining on his lips. "Mm. Her plan to make you misunderstood is indeed a huge success," as he said that, he glanced at her fron the corner of his eyes before returning back to focus on the road.
Huang zhilan smiled awkwardly. "She is too beautiful and even called you by your name. How can I didn't feel like something amiss?"
"Alright. There's no need to explain yourself, en?" The man softly chuckled.
Huang zhilan wanted to open her mouth but she paused before stopping herself from talking nonsense again. She looked at him who was driving calmly with only one hand on the steering wheel while the other rest on his thigh. His handsome face was not strict like before but he appeared more relaxed.
She didn't know how but she think that whenever he was with her, she felt that gu junjie never been controlling her like what he did to his subordinates. He let her enjoy her life despite that he have short time to spend with her.

"Hm?" The man glanced at her from the corner of his eyes and his lips curled upwards.
Huang zhilan looked at him and asked, "are my behaviour is still like a child?"
"Why you are asking this?" Gu junjie raised one eyebrow in question.
"No...I just feel like after I date you, I have become more burdening? In fact, you always been tired to tend with my needs. I always whine at you and ask for a solution from you, aren't I'm a burden? You have lot of work to do at office and when you get hom and finally got time to rest, I disturbed you over and over again. Have you ever feel annoyed by my behaviour?"
"It's not a burden. I even more liked it that you never hide anything from me and ask for my help everytime. Its not tiring. You should not think about these negative things. Didn't I told you just to be yourself? You didn't need to put up an act infront of me, understand?" Gu junjie smiled and stopped when it was red light. He take advantage of that and tapped her nose before give a quick kiss on her lips. He pecked it once more before continuing, "we are a couple, remember that".
Huang zhilan patted his thighs and urged him to drive as the light have changed to green. She know that the man have always been patient to her and that's why she was afraid that if her behaviour turned even more childish and annoying, he would grow tired of her.
She glanced at his side profile once more and her lips curled to a smile
It seems.....she indeed used all her luck to get this man..
It doesn't matter uf she have run out of luck, because this man was her lucky star. Her one and only king. The person who put the crown to her head and shielded her from the storms and rains. How can she not be afraid if he turned his back against her? This man.....every women wanted him and she didn't want him to even look at them.
"Jie, where are we going?" She asked when she felt that they have been in the car for too long but they still haven't arrived.
