Grande terre (the big thing in the middle) : Great Land

Terre de la Mer : Land of the Sea

Terre du Soleil : Land of the Sun

Terre des Jours : Land of Light (actually in French 'jours' = 'days' but well it don't work well, in the book it's more used to differentiate light/darkness,shadow something like that)

Terre de la Nuit : Land of the Night

Terre de l'Eau : Land of Water

Terre de Feu : Land of Fire

Terre du Vent (beginning of the story) : Land of Wind

Terre des Roches : Land of Rocks
