"Take care, Simon. I do hope we meet again someday." Kasuyi grinned at the older man from atop the wagon he was riding on.
"You too, kid. Be careful, and stay safe!" Simon grinned back and waved as Kasuyi's ride began to leave the city gates.
A year had quickly passed since Kasuyi and Simon made a splash in the local regions by capturing the Shadow Squad. The fame they had gotten from that single act had made them a sort of local sensation in the surrounding regions.
Unfortunately, nothing lasted forever, and Kasuyi had decided to continue his journey, and depart from the town. Today was the day he left, setting course for a city that was several days away. Simon had chosen to stay back, as he had family that he could not leave, and he could not just have them packing up to follow on a dangerous adventure. He was not that young anymore.
When they had left the town, Kasuyi turned to face forward, looking into the distance. New horizons awaited.
