At the beginning of time, where nothing existed, there came to be two forms of Energy. These were the Arcane, the Energy of Creation, and the Chaos, the Energy of Destruction.
These two Energies were at opposite ends of the spectrum, and conflicted with each other, but they also coexisted with one another. This special coexistence was the beginning of existence, and through the coexistence of these two Energies, the first World was created. This World was called the Source World.
It was on this Source World that the very first beings were born. The Arcane gave them life, and the Chaos took that life. It became a constant cycle of life and death. Creation and Destruction.
