Kai was unconscious throughout the rest of the day, as well as the following one. The injuries he had received from those Master Class beasts were just too severe. The extent of his injuries even surpassed Erwin's injuries from when they had fought against the Ghost Snakes.
One of the reasons why Erwin's recovery had been quick was because of the Healing Magic that Kai had used to administer immediate treatment to Erwin. Now, all they could rely on were low grade healing potions. It would take an extended period of time for Kai to fully heal his injuries with just the healing potion at work.
The group made no attempts at going out of the clearing. They had secured enough food, herbs and other resources to last them the entire week, and more. There was absolutely no need to venture out ad risk their lives and safety at this time.
