"Are you ready?" Boyd asked from his position behind a raised wall of stone that Kasuyi had raised beforehand. The other members of the Hidden Bolt were also behind this wall of stone, peeping out at Kasuyi.
It had been a couple of days since Kasuyi broke through and became a Baron. After a night of partying and two days of rest, Kasuyi finally felt ready enough to try out his powers. They had left the city, signing out at the gates before heading into the wilderness to make sure they didn't damage any of the city's property in any way.
"Ready as I'll ever be." Kasuyi replied.

The moment the okay signal was given, Kasuyi let his power roll off him in waves. He weaved together complex magic circles in his mind before projecting them outwards and letting them take on the form of spells. He noticed that he could do this with at least five times as more ease than when he was just a Grandmaster Class mage!
