Kasuyi yawned s he stretched his hands over his head. Faint popping sounds came from his back and shoulders as he worked out the knots in them. Streams of light slipped into the room through the little holes in the light curtain. Morning had come too soon.
Slipping out of the worn wooden bed, he slipped on his undershirt before pushing his feet into his slippers. From what he could tell, it would be a couple of hours before nine hit, so he had some time to do some of his daily meditation and a few warm up rounds with Marvin.
A light knock came from the door of his room.
"Come in." Kasuyi mumbled from his spot on the bed where he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. The door creaked open and Marvin's head of dark hair popped in through the opening.
