Chapter 30 - The Werewolf Warrior [3]

[GIDEON]

"Am I?" The werewolf asked, drawing in a deep breath while staring at Gideon dead in the eye. He loved what he was seeing, no doubt, especially with the small smirk that was plastered on his face. he could see that Gideon had beautiful golden eyes, but there was a shimmer of blue in them.

His eyes were unique, something that made the warrior want to know the story behind Gideon's eyes, but clearly, Gideon of Greroth wasn't going to be telling him any stories at the moment, not that he would force him to.

"Your eyes, they are perfect," the warrior whispered to no one in particular as he pressed himself further into Gideon's personal space. The wolf knew that was a risk, considering he knew Gideon was a ticking time bomb, but this was the bomb he was attracted to.

They both could feel their connection, but this warrior wasn't about to explain to Gideon that they were bound for each other, no. He wanted to see Gideon tonight because he was sure, the leaders of the midlands would be long gone from Acrod by morning.

He wanted to see if the witch protege was feeling what he was feeling, and if that was so, then he needed to know what they would do about their attraction to each other. It was crazy how much this warrior was willing to risk just for a night with Gideon.

Expectedly, Gideon ignored the compliment, acting like it just didn't make his heart flutter a little.

"I won't hurt you," the warrior said, his voice assuring Gideon that he was her for something else other than violence. The warrior's hands were folded behind his back as if to tell Gideon that he wasn't lying to him, but did Gideon even care?

Of course, this warrior could try to harm Gideon, but he would never be able to succeed, not that Gideon would tell him that anyway. Or maybe they both already knew that.

Looking at the warrior, Gideon just realized that they were of the same physique, and that could explain why the warrior had managed to get so close to him. Damn height, and why the fuck did he smell so good anyway?

Gideon sighed, unsure of what the warrior wanted, but he was curious as to what the warrior would do. The warrior was treating him with kindness, and that was as new as affection was to Gideon. It was a wild realization that no matter what happened, he would never let himself feel.

Criselda's protege had his guard high up as usual because he knew this was the easiest way that anyone would try killing him. He knew, because he had once manipulated a target, and the worst part or even the best part of his assassination job, was that Gideon loved it so much.

Maybe the warrior was told to follow him, and seduce him or shit. Maybe the leaders had seen how this warrior and Gideon had been fucking each other with their eyes and had decided that he was the perfect distraction and the easiest route to eliminating Gideon of Greroth.

However, Gideon was careful.

"I know. You can't even if you try," Gideon said lightly to the warrior, all the while, admiring his beautiful black eyes. If he could, Gideon could stay in this moment forever, but he wasn't a lucky guy and relationships weren't really his strongest suit anyway.

He expected an attack when the warrior pulled himself closer, but what he hadn't expected, was for the warrior to gently lick an agonizing slow trail from the crook of his neck to his ears. Gideon shivered from the contact, his body giving him away.

He should have been disgusted by the action, considering he and this warrior were probably not even mates, but he loved it. He loved what the warrior was skillfully doing to him. Instinctively, he had bent his head, giving the warrior access to his shoulders.

It was like he had given up any ideas that their warrior was a danger to him. It was risky, but he was Gideon of Greroth, and off-guard wasn't something he believed in.

"Gideon," the werewolf said to Gideon, as he swirled his tongue over Gideon's ears, making sure to blow slow breaths in his wake, while he let his tongue linger longer than it should have. But then again, how long was he supposed to linger like that?

He wasn't holding Gideon, he wasn't even touching the man. Sure, their bodies were up close, but the warrior was working with his tongue and lips, as Gideon stiffened continuously, all with his hands still folded behind his back.

"Hmmm," Gideon subconsciously groaned, officially not giving a fuck about anyone that could have passed and seen them there. Tomorrow he would be leaving this pace anyway, and the warrior would be with his mate in the future.

However, tonight was just about the two of them.

The warrior took that as an invite to pepper kisses on Gideon's shoulders, gently unbuttoning his shirt, just enough to give him access to Gideon's broad shoulders. His lips on Gideon's skin made the warrior feel so good, that he nibbled, sucked, and bit it, leaving beautiful marks.

It was like he was making art on Gideon's skin, and the man wasn't even making an effort to object. Gideon stood with the warrior, letting the man do whatever he wanted with him. He, after all, loved what he was feeling.

The sparks between them were undeniable, and maybe that could explain the intensity of their desires to bed each other. They knew the bed in the guestroom would do them more justice, but they also knew if they broke this, there was a chance they would never get to it again.

"Do I stop?" The wolf asked as he doubled on Gideon's jawline, sucking and blowing slow breaths each time like this is what he had been yearning to do since he saw Gideon. All this time, Gideon was responsive, giving him access to whatever he wanted.

The warrior then slightly bent down, just enough for him to have access to Gideon's Adam's apple which was popping up and down, a little too fast, a sign that Gideon was beginning to get affected by the warrior.

"No," Gideon said, making the warrior pause. He wasn't sure if that was a response to his question or that was a warning that he wasn't to kiss Gideon's adam's apple.

"No?" the warrior asked. He needed to be sure, because one wrong move and he knew Gideon of Greroth would be breaking his bones and throwing him a few miles into next week.

"Don't stop."
