[ALANOR]
With Criselda gone, Alanor knew he had screwed up. He looked in the direction where Zelina had followed his mother and the young Wynter felt like he was playing a losing game. This was the first time he was conflicted and it pissed him off that he punched the nearest tree.
Criselda was right. The young Wynter had been weak and had messed up the one thing he had been planning for all his life. And all of that because of a man who couldn't give two shits about him, except for Unar.
Alanor had let the damned lycan king get into his head. He had let Edison see him broken for a split second there; oh, but it was more, and even then, he had let Edison see him lost. He had let Edison hurt him one more time, and that was the very thing he had been avoiding from the beginning.
Maybe he needed to be better if he was going to face Edison. He couldn't fight with his emotions, and now that he had Edison, he was going to make good use of it.
