On the way back from Axium, Saiba looks up and notices something strange. Very confused Saiba says,
"Hey Lily... Isn't it a little cold?"
Lily peeks her head out of the wagon and excitedly says,
"Snow!"
Crystal-like snowflakes are falling from the sky and coating the ground in a thin, white layer. Planning something, Lily asks,
"Doesn't Uma look a little tired?... W-We should stop over or something... Right..?"
Saiba answers,
"Huh? What are you talking about? Uma looks completely fine."
Uma lets out a hearty moo. Saiba adds,
"We can stop over, I guess..."
Saiba parks the wagon and ties it up to a snow-covered tree. Lily excitedly hops out and runs into a field of fluffy snow. She begins to play in the snow.
First, by rolling around in the ground and making snow angels. Next, by catching snowflakes on her tongue. Lastly, by making a snowman. She uses her skill, 'Parallel Flash', to carve features in the snowman.
Saiba looks at her with a judging glare and asks,
"Are you sure you didn't want to play in the snow?"
Embarrassed, Lily answers,
"O-Of course not! Who would even play in the snow!?"
Her mood loosens up as she adds,
"The snow is so cold and so soft and so fluffy and so... So fun to play with!"
Saiba mutters,
"I knew it..."
Saiba shouts,
"Come on! We need to get back to Hogback! I wanna get my armor fixed already!"
Lily quickly runs behind the snowman and mumbles,
"B-But I can't leave Pierre alone..."
Disappointedly, Saiba mumbles,
"She named it?.."
Lily finally gives in and reluctantly walks toward Saiba while saying,
"Fine... I guess this goodbye, Pierre...."
The two walk back over to the wagon and get on. They continue back on the path, the snow seems to be getting stronger. The winds are howling and the snowflakes are crashing down like little rocks.
Saiba starts to hear sobbing noises from inside the wagon as he stops Uma and peeks inside. He looks and is met with a surprise.
Lily is sitting in the wagon and holding the snowman's head. It's starting to break apart as bits of it are splitting from the main piece. Tears start dripping from her eyes as she shouts,
"Pierreee! Don't leave me yet!"
Saiba judges her weird antics and decides to leave her alone.
When he looks back out of the wagon, it seems as though they are now stuck. A foot of snow covers the ground, trapping Saiba, Lily, Uma and the wagon. Lily peeks out and asks,
"Why'd we stop moving?"
She looks around and is speechless. She shouts,
"Snow sucks! Why did I even play with it!? It's so bad! Now we're stuck here 'cause of the stupid snow!"
Suddenly, a loud stomping starts to approach.
Saiba looks behind and sees a large devilish monster. It has a name above it that reads, 'Krampus the Winter Stalker' It has grotesque, gray limbs that are long and dangly. It also has a sharp face that has two horns poking out of it.
The monster flashes a creepy grin as it starts running towards the wagon. Utterly terrified, Saiba pats Uma and starts nervously says,
"H-Hey Uma... Could you maybe start running... Like... Now!?"
Uma hurriedly moves his legs around in the snow, but he is unable to move. As Lily peeks out of the wagon, she notices the monster and shouts,
"Can you keep it down!? I'm mourning the loss of my best friend!"
With a disappointed look, Saiba mumbles,
"What about me..?"
Quickly, Lily hops out and leaps toward the monster. She pulls her rapier out and points it towards Krampus while announcing,
"This is for Pierre!"
Her weapons glows yellow as she uses a skills and shouts,
"Blinding Ray!"
She flies through the beast and leaves a hole in the middle of it as Krampus turns to dust. She poses while putting her sword back in the sheath.
At the same time, the snow begins to clear as it melts back into the ground. Surprised, Saiba says,
"Huh? What's happening to the snow?"
Lily explains,
"That monster was probably the one that caused the snow, so when I defeated him, the snow left too."
Shortly after, they receive the usual congratulatory pop-up. Saiba scans the snow-less field and spots a familiar red and white hat. He thinks to himself,
"That's a santa hat, right?"
He remembers Christmas while asking Lily,
"Hey, do you guys celebrate Christmas here?"
Lily answers,
"No, I don't think so..."
Saiba thinks and realizes while muttering,
"It was November when I left, I think, and it's been about a month since then, so it should be around Christmas time, right..? What a coincidence!"
Saiba is completely wrong. It was the middle of summer when he was transported to this world.
Lily gets back on the wagon as they continue their journey back to Hogback Town. Distancing themselves from the very Christmas-like accident, they ride off and Saiba hums his favorite Christmas carol.
