It was a sunny afternoon. My best friend and I were playing board games in his room and when I looked at him, my heart was beating faster than before, my tummy was feeling weird too. Like there were butterflies in it. As he looked back at me, I looked away quickly and acted normal. I can feel my face burning from embarrassment but I don't know why. I've never felt this way before. "What is this feeling?" I whispered to myself. "What did you say?" He asked. "Oh nothing hahaha ha-ha" I laughed it off. "Hmm ok" He said and quickly looked at his phone like he was waiting for something. "Aren't we gonna play, Jang?" I asked him because he was focused on his phone. "Oh I got bored, I don't wanna play it anymore. Don't worry I'll clean it." He said smiling at me. His smile was so sweet and cute. I want to be the reason why he was smiling. As I smiled back he looked at his phone again like I wasn't with him, I kinda felt like I was invisible to him. I wasn't liking the way I was feeling about it. I took his phone and held it high. He was looking at me, his eyes were sparkling that distracted me and he easily got his phone back before I was able to react we fall from the bed. As he was looking at me, my heart beats rapidly. Our face was close to each other, our nose was touching. When I was feeling like our lips were about to touch. The door was slammed. We were surprised to see his mother at the door looking at us like we're doing something wrong. My face turned red from embarrassment. "Hey Julliana, your mom is waiting for you outside." She said to me. "Oh ok! Bye auntie" I said and quickly left their house. I saw my mom as I stepped outside the house. When I turned around I saw Jang looking at me through his window. "Does he know?" My mom asked looking at me. As we continue to walk to our house. I looked at my mom while she was finding her keys in her pocket. "No, and why would I tell him? I might ruin our friendship." I said to my mom and while she was opening our door. "Maybe it's the risk you should take. Don't be like me sweetheart, My life is full of what ifs." she said and she finally opened the door. She went inside while I looked at Jang's house in front of me and smiled. He wasn't there anymore but I somehow feel sad. I went inside and lie down and rest a bit, thinking of him.
