"What do you mean Cargo 404 has gone missing?" The Colonel yelled into a transceiver, "...It was intercepted by what-" he was suddenly interrupted by a knock at the door, "Look, someone's coming in, just search the wreckage for any survivors" The Colonel stated. He turned around to be greeted by a woman in the standard blue scientist outfit. "Ms Nadeline!!" The Colonel greeted. "Hello Colonel Ambrose, our search and rescue teams have returned, and...they just returned and they brought back something interesting" Nadeline said as she set down a silver container with a metallic plate on the outside. Nadeline placed her hand on the cylinder object, causing the metallic outside of the object to turn into clear glass, revealing what was contained inside. The Colonel's eyes widened when he saw a black and purple blob inside, moving around like a slug, as he examined closer he saw constellations in the blob, stars and even planets. "...How is this...possible?" He asked, his head was hurting from even the thought of it, how could this tiny little blob contains a part of space?
"We're looking into it...but I have a feeling it's not the Humines, even they're not advanced enough to do such a thing...this is an unknown outside force" she explained, "We'll report to you if we make another discovery, for now...you should focus on those kids" she said before she left the room.

"ATTENTION!!!" The Colonel shouted as he entered the gym room, causing most of the kids to immediately looked up. "I hope you've gotten familiar with your teammates, because now...we'll be putting you on an Obstacle Course!!!" He said, showing the large course behind him. "The objective is to cross the finish line as a team, you will be competing with another Squad to the finish line...there are no bars and limits, we will only jump in if there's a serious injury or emergency...getting punched in the face does NOT count as a serious injury or emergency, and neither does crying" The Colonel yelled, immediately some of the kids in the room began to sob hysterically. "...Christ, the course hasn't even began yet-" he sighed, taking a piece of paper, "...Squad Alpha and Squad Foxtrot!! You two will be going first" The Colonel yelled, before walking to the side of the room.
"Oh boy...don't get nervous, just picture everybody naked" Alex whispered to himself, he was already a nervous wreck by just standing in front of everyone. "Oooh, a playground, how fun" Zach chuckled as he stepped forward. Samantha simply cracked her knuckle and glared at the other tree. Bailey stepped forward excitedly, "Good Luck!!" She said to the other team as she got in a ready position.
Alex glanced at the other team, a team of mostly boys with only one girl. Alex waited patiently for a signal, he watched as rows of guards stood at either side of the room with a rifle in hand, and before he can even comprehend what was happening a loud alarm rung. Alex immediately ran into the course and was bombarded with BB pellets, "OHHH FUCK!!! FUCK THIS SHIT!!!" Zach tried to cover his face from the bullets leaving his body totally defenseless, Bailey immediately fell to the ground from a pellet to the head, Sam was the only one who was going through. She climbed a set of monkey bars, getting to the other side and immediately turning around and kicking one of the boys from the other team off the bars. She ran to an obstacle with a rope, climbing to the top of the rope and hitting a bell, as she slid back down, she swung her feet towards another boy from the other team, kicking him down.
Zach immediately grabbed the girl from the other team, "Human Shield!!!" He yelled, using her as cover from the bullets and immediately causing her to get knocked out from the overwhelming bullets hitting her head. Zach immediately dove towards the monkey bars and climbed his way to the other side, trying to endure the pain he's feeling from the BB guns. Soon the guards stopped shooting and chuckled as they watched the match go on.
"...Oh Finally" Alex sighed, "Come on Bailey!!" He yelled as he began to actually run the course.
Sam was on a rock wall, climbing it as a boy from the other team was climbing next to her, she suddenly punched her square in the jaw and yanked him by the back of his shirt, throwing him off the wall. She climbed to the top and grabbed a zip line, zipping all the way back down to the ground.
"Oh dear!! Are you okay?" Bailey asked as she helped up a boy from the other team, "Oh dear I'm so sorry!!" She said to another boy from the other team who was terribly hurt after falling off the rock wall. Bailey and Alex was able to scale the wall and soon got to the top, "You go on ahead!! I'll help Zach" Bailey said, Alex nodded and zip-lined down in order to catch up with Sam. "You can make it!! Come on!!" Bailey said as she reached her hand down for Zach to grab.
Zach struggled to climb the rock, and when he got near the top, he grabbed Bailey's hand and she pulled him up.
"...Thanks" Zach panted, he suddenly grabbed Bailey and pushed her off the rock wall, "But it's every man for himself" Zachary stated, moving on without a second glance. He grabbed the zip line and moved forward, launching himself feet forward into Zach and knocking him onto the ground. Zach intends to cross the line first, he began to catch up to Sam and as he got close, she turned around and tried to swing her fist at him, but he narrowly got out of the way and slipped right under her arm, running past her and diving through the finish line. "Yeah!!! I'm first!!!" Zach cackled, "You can all go FUCK YOURSELF!!!" He yelled flipping Sam off. Squad Foxtrot, the other team, all crossed the finish line after Zach.
"Squad Foxtrot wins the obstacle course!!" The Colonel announced, "What?!" Zach turned around, "No, fuck that!! I crossed the line first, shouldn't I have won for my team?" Zach asked. Alex groaned as he limped through the finish line towards Zach, "...He said to cross the line as a TEAM, you jerk!!! What were you and Sam thinking?" He groaned, falling to the floor from the horrific pain he endured.
"...Are you kidding me?!" Zach shouted, "you want me to work with these bozos?! That girl was literally helping the other side at some points!!" Zach said, pointing at Bailey who was completely unconscious on the ground. "Well remember this next time...when you're out fighting, teamwork is important...if things had gone down out there like it did in that course, you Four would be Alien Food" The Colonel stated, "Next Squad!!!" He yelled, reading off the list again.
Alex, Sam, Zach and Bailey returned to the sidelines, totally defeated. Sam glanced at Squad Foxtrot who were all cheering loudly, Sam made a fist and was ready to explode...
