A small café not many know about. Those who visit seem to die exactly the minute, 24 hours later. Some thought it was a strange coincidence , others thought it didn't matter, and some had conspiracies and wanted to crack the case. So one day a detective was hired, whose name was Smith, Smith Jones not a very well-known detective but, for those who do know him are always satisfied. The famous case of 9/11 was solved with evidence by him. He decided he was going to go undercover into the café, hired by a conspiracist. He thought it'd be safer to dye his hair and put in contacts, never know who knows you and who doesn't. It was sunset he would arise, 6 sharp to drive to the airport.
He watched the sunset, and wrote in his journal. He opened the hardcover book, he flipped to the first blank page with his right-hand thumb. Taking a feather, and dipped it into ink.

He shut the book, with a small slam sound. He turned off his desk lamp, as detectives Jones laid his head onto the pillow and soon drifted off.
The next day
The sunlight hit his face from out of his open curtains. The chestnut-brown haired male groaned and slowly sat up. Turning to his alarm clock, on his night stand hitting the off button.
As he started to rub his eyes open and slowly shifted out of his bed, onto the cold floor. Wincing a bit to the sudden coldness, slowly walking over to the light switch and, flipped it on. He continued to the sink, he turned the sink faucet. Grabbing the toothbrush, with one hand, using the other to grab the toothpaste tube. Starting to remove the top from the tube, he then squirted a line of toothpaste on the brush. Positioning the toothbrush under the sink, he then continued to brush his teeth thoroughly, before screwing the top back on and turning off the sink.
He then proceeded to get into the shower, by the time he got out. His hair was drenched and he had a towel wrapped around his waist. Then started reaching, towards the blow-dryer he proceeded to plug it in and switched it on. Blowing out his silky yet fluffy hair, as water droplets from his hair fell down he then combed it a bit until he was satisfied. Walking back to the bedroom, he dropped the towel. Opening the closet door and, quickly snatching something out of the closet, afterwards leaned down to grab some shoes, and walked over to a dresser pulling out a pair of socks and underwear.
I quickly slipped on my underwear, then slipped my white button up over my shoulders and adjusted the collar. Buttoning up the buttons quickly next I grabbed my grayish-light blue stovepipe jeans. I threw on my brown cardigan, then slipped on my white over ankle socks, and my black dress shoes which I quickly laced.
He grabbed his glasses on his night stand and blew on them to fog them, then cleaned them off. Turning to his night stand he grabbed his house keys along with his car keys, phone, journal, and a suitcase leaning next to the front door. Going around the house to check if all the lights and sinks were off. Then heading back to the foyer, he flipped the light switch off. Afterwards, he walked out of the door slammed the door behind him, and fumbled with his keys trying to lock the door.
I started to walk down the long hallway, it was so quiet my footsteps and the sound of my suitcase rolling echoed throughout the hallways. Arriving at the elevator, I pressed the lower button. The elevator arrived with a ding, as the door slid open I walked in.h
The brunette started to walk over to his car, he opened the trunk and softly tossed his suitcase in. He slammed the trunk closed and walked to the driver's seat, turning the key to start the motor.
It's been hours, it's around 9 pm. He decided to look up any nearby hotels, there was one half an hour away. Many reports of murder and, human trafficking should be interesting he thought.
I drove up to the front, to get a room. Hello, ma'am I'd like to get a room for the night, until 12 tomorrow." She looked up and down at me, "M-Mr. Jones," she started to stutter and fidget around a lot. "I'm a big fan of your work, you're my idol." Repeating myself I said, "It's always nice to meet a fan but, are there any rooms available?", "Y-Yes, of course sir, here there's a 1-bedroom suite. If that's ok with you?", "Yeah that's perfect." he replied. "It'll be $120 sir." "Of course." I said flashing a quick smile while pulling out my wallet. I started counting a few $20's and gave her about 6 adding up to $120. "Here you are sir." she said, handing me a card. I instantly noticed blood on her thumb. She didn't seem to be cut, I thought to myself. "Thank you Ms.," I looked at her name tag, "Sanchez." "If you could kindly wait, a guide will come to help you to your suite." She started to dial a number on the phone, "Yeah, uh huh, lobby room 5, suite 23, yes suite 23. WELL THEN HURRY THE HELL UP!" she put her hand over the speaker, "sorry your wait might take a bit longer then expected sir." "If anything it's fine ma'am I'd be completely capable of finding the room myself." I replied a bit suspicious. "No, that won't be necessary. "We always help our customers to their rooms on their first day." she said, her tone getting a bit deeper. "Hey Sanchez, is this the guest I'm bringing to room 23." he said slightly lowering his voice at 23. "Yes this is detective Jones." she replied. As he had his hand in his pocket I noticed blood on it smearing onto his pants.
