"I'm home." I said, coming into the house
My mum comes rushing ,grabs my hand and drags me out the house again.
"Oh, thank Moon goddess you are here. We have so much to do and so little time. Why did you not come earlier? Oh that doesn't matter, the point is you are here." She rambled on
"Mum, what is wrong? And you are rambling on again."
"Everything is wrong, we don't have your outfit for your birthday tomorrow. There are no decorations up yet and,"
"Calm down, mum. That isn't serious."
"Don't tell me to calm down. This is serious. This is the year that you will meet your mate"
"Oh, yeah. I forgot about that" I thought
"Ok, how about we go to the mall and quickly pick a dress and some decorations and a cake?" I asked
She nods and drives to the mall.
"Come on, hurry up." Mum pulled me along with her.
I sighed and tried to keep up with her.
"Mum, you are walking too fast for me to keep up, slow down please."
"Nope we can't slow down Cellia. We have to go to Lilly's boutique for your dress and they close soon, Peter's decoration and order a cake from Katie's Cake shop. So hurry up."
My mum pulled me and walked even faster
I sighed and jogged
Once we reached Lilly's boutique, my mum pulled me inside and got one of the workers to take my measurement
Once they did, they took me to a dressing room and gave me 5 dresses to try on
The first dress was pink, up to my knees and had ruffles
I put it on and came out of the dressing room to show my mum
"No, absolutely not."
The second dress was purple, below my knees and has a deep neck
"Nope, not this one either."
The third dress was a golden, above my knees, deep neck
"Too short"
The fourth dress was red above my knees, off shoulder neck design
"I don't like the colour."
The fifth dress was above my knees but has a tail that goes just up to the middle of my knees, blue and a off shoulder neck design
"Yes, this is the one."
I smiled
"Now we have to go to get decorations and cake."
I frowned
"Oh, don't worry. I have called Caspian. He will pick you up so you don't have to wonder with me."
I go and hug her. "Thanks mom."
"Your welcome. Now change out of the dress, so I can pay for it."
I walked back to the changing room and took the dress off
"Here you go." I gave her the dress
"Thanks dear. Now shoo, Caspian is outside."
"Bye mum."
"Bye sweetheart."
I walked out and saw Caspian chilling on his car with headphones in.
I walked up and poked on the shoulder
He jumped slightly then he saw me
"Oh, it is just you."
"What do you mean it's just you?"
He didn't reply and sat inside the car
"Rude." I muttered under my breath before getting inside the car
