Irinaiah's.
"Knock, knock Red!" I opened my eyes from my nap when Gunner and Bullet pushed the door open, carrying multiple boxes of meal.
"Come in." I shifted to my left to continue my sleep when I suddenly felt a weight behind me.
"Hey, Red! Wag kang matulog aba! Magpaparty ka tas matutulog ka lang?" I heard the door closed. I groaned and sat up, my face down and still sleepy.
"Hoy, Red-" Pinutol ko sa pagsasalita si Cia by raising my hand stop. I tilted my face, eyes still closed.
"Are y'all here?" I spoke silently and opened my eyes. When I looked at them, they stared in shock. My eyes turned to Gunner and he flinched like there's something in my face.
"What's happening? Is there something in my face?" I touched my face.
"There's nothing. Can I have your mirror real quick?" I grabbed Cia's mirror as she was about to get it and looked at myself. Oh, a drool.
"You just have a drool." I looked and blinked at Cia who laughed together with the others. I throw her mirror back making sure that I don't break it by embarrassment.
"It's just this is the first time we see you drool." The laughed. I wiped the drool off and opened a box. The smell of fried chicken welcome me as I ate quickly.
"You didn't even say grace, Red." Sin said just finished thanking the Lord.
"You guys were busy laughing." I rolled my eyes as I ate again. We ate altogether until Bullet went out to get the drinks.
"Goodness, that was so delicious." Nica stretched and sighed.
"Hey, we can talk in Filipino. Gunner won't mind, right?" I looked at Gunner who just nodded his head and played at his phone again.
"See? I miss Philippines, guys." I said leaning on my headboard.
"Yeah, nakakamiss pero mahirap din dun." Z said.
"Uhuh. Buti nga nakita tayo ni Master Rain, kundi hindi tayo makakaahon sa kahirapan at maging ganto." Lili said, cleaning her indigo-painted nails.
"Oo nga pala, ano nakita satin ni Master Rain para i-adopt tayo from the orphanage noh?" Shia said.
"Maybe because we're good at fighting or we have a potential to it." I said.
"Eh ikaw lang naman tarantado satin eh." Sabi ni Sin at binatukan ako. The others nodded in agreement and I smirked while remembering the old days.
"Siga 'to eh. Kala mo pagkalaki-laki. Dami na kayang nabugbog niyan." Cia said laughing.
"Thanks for the praise." I smiled.
"Dami na nga ding beses na umuwi yan sa orphanage na maraming sugat. Bugbog sarado, tapang kasi masyado." Nica slapped my back, hard enough for me to flinch and groan. Their happy faces changed to worry and confusion.
"S-sorry. I thought- sorry." Nilayo niya yung kamay niya at tumingin sakin. I looked at her with no emotions as I reach for my back and moved my muscles carefully.
"Speak." I ordered, blinking to avoid remembering the memories.
"It's still there?" Sin softly spoke. I nodded as I turn and take off my hoodie. I'm wearing a sports bra so Gunner don't mind.
"Gods.." I felt Sin touching my back and I whined in pain as memories flashing back. Tears quickly started to fill my eyes and I wailed.
"N-no! No, please! S-stop! Stop! Please don't!" I cried as they jolted, including Gunner and clothed me.
"Red! Red! It's us, calm down Red." Sin hugged me as I looked around and shouted.
"NO!" I tried to push them and run but they gripped my arm, trying to stop me. I heard Gunner calling someone while worriedly looking at me.
"Red! Calm down!" I continued to cry as the door open and Storm ran to me. He pinned me down the bed and gripped me.
"Rina. It's me, it's us." I still cried when all of a sudden, everything turned pitch black.
"Sinusubukan kong maging mabait sayo, pero napakasama mong tao! Putangina mo mamatay ka na!"
I jolted awake, breathing hard as my eyes roamed the room. Everything's white.. Bullet's room.
I heard footsteps approaching me and I turned to where it came from. Standing at the corner were Cia, Shia, Z, Sin, Lili, and Nica with worried look on their face.
"Hey." My voice croaked as I spoke. They approached me and suddenly, they hugged me tight especially Nica who was crying now.
"Hey, don't cry Nica." I wiped her tears.
"B-but, I was the one who slapped your back." She cried. I hugged her again.
"You did nothing wrong. It is not your fault." I smiled and softly taps her back. I looked the others, smiling.
"Don't you wear that smile, Red. You kept it a secret from us." Sin said, crossing her arms.
"What? Oh, this? You know it already, how is that a secret?" I pouted.
"Ah-ah. Don't pout. You still kept it a secret. Alam kong matagal na yan, pero ba't mo tinago samin? Alam mo kung gaano kami nagalala-"
"Shh, shh. Wag ka magtagalog Sin. May naglalaba." I stopped her and smiled. She sighed.
"Still. Anyways, matagal na yan right? Why does it still hurts? We just know you have a trauma but it hurts 'til now.. why?" I was about to speak when Bullet suddenly came.
"Training. She keeps on training with her back involve. It's also sore because of the wrestling and hand-to-hand combat training." Bullet looked at me and I looked away, whistling. I was about to look back again when he flicked my forehead.
"Ow."
"How many times do I have to say, do not train with others physically? You're so stubborn, as fuck." Bigla niya akong kinotongan ng madami dami.
"O-ow-" He stopped and sighed.
"Don't make me curse you in Greek 'coz I swear to the gods, on the River of Styx, you'll be struck by Zeus' lightning." I nodded and pouted. He looked at the girls and gave them advices and instructions. He looked at me after.
"Take care, Red." I nodded and I suddenly felt sleepy so I immediately slept.
