E told H to distract Cayden by offering him the possibility to play at a bar for a decent pay, Cayden took the bait and set his guitar down to talk to H about the possible job. E and J crept up behind Cayden and slowly reached for the guitar and its case which was currently housing a bunch of coins thanks to a friendly audience that evening. Once E and J had a solid hold of the items they were about to steal, they slowly began to retract them. J silently closed and locked the case. Once they were ready, the two looked at H and they both nodded, then they took off running.
Cayden realized that his guitar was missing and took off running after it as fast as he could. Since Cayden was chasing after the other two, H decided she could just walk away so she did. Once E and J realized that they were being chased by Cayden they decided to split up and see who he would follow. Of course he chased E, who had the guitar instead of J who had the case. So J went back to the hiding spot to drop off his new findings.
Cayden would rather save his means of survival and the only thing he cares about rather than saving a small amount of money that he can make up for. Cayden chased E all the way to the ruins of an abandoned village with a well in the middle of what seems to be a courtyard. E stood right next to the well and held the guitar by its neck over the well. Both E and Cayden are out of breath at this point but Cayden is now in tears.
