"Calm down Lia!" The girl said while running a hand through her hair. "How can i?! You know that how much this job interview means to me" She yelled, frustration lacing her voice as she spoke.
"Lia, i know but you need to handle things calmly otherwise you'll panic and it wont be good" the girl said softly trying to calm her best friend.
"Fine Rose, only cause youre saying so" Lia stomped her feet on the ground. Rosette chuckled moving her head from side to side at her friend's childish behavior. Rose got up from her seat and took a hold of Lia's hands, rubbing her thumbs on her knuckles to calm her down.
"You always know how to calm me down, dont you?" Lia said while smiling sweetly at the gesture. "Ofcourse, i do Li" she replied while giving her a hug "you'll rock it dont worry".
She broke the hug, giving her a thumbs up.
After bidding goodbye's Lia went to her house freshen up while Rosette started to sulk on the couch.
Thinking of grabbing a granola bar, Rose got up and took small steps towards her tiny cracked up kitchen. The shelves had almost lost there balance. The leakage of the pipeline wasnt helping either. She sighed at the sight infront of her.
Her financial crisis had led her to this crappy one bedroom apartment.
She opened the refrigerator to take a bar but her luck wasnt with her this time. Any empty fridge with just few water bottles placed in the far end and a loaf of moulded bread.
Rose headed towards her front door, grabbing the keys, her phone along with her earphones and a hoodie she went outside.
Fresh cold breeze's of September welcomed her.
Wearing her earphones in her ears, she clicked open her chapped iPhone 5s and started to listen her favorite song called Be alright by Dean Lewis.
Humming slightly she starred up at the bright sky above her, which gave her a feeling of warmth.
She smiled at the birds who were flying with their families happily. Her smile instantly faded at the thought of families.
She shaked her head to block the memories that only brought pain. As she walked, her tip of the shoe playing with a rock lying on the ground. She neared the coffee shop where rich people tend to often come. Rose headed inside with her eyes locked to the ground, she never wanted to get noticed, specially by the rich community.
