"We are almost there."
"I am starving and dehydrated."
Angela saw a nearby garage and stopped getting them food and drinks. She parked the car out of sight and asked Nicole to stay there.
After getting them food, she climbed in the car, "Nicole, I am glad you are eating," Said Angela.
They sat and ate and filled up the car with gas on their way. They were back home. Angela was excited to deliver the news that Nicole was still alive.
Meanwhile, Jack and Tania left the house, and Tania insisted they take her latest Mercedes. Jack had agreed to travel with her car under the condition he drives.
"Thats how I like it." She joked, "So, where would you like to go?"
"Anywhere the wind blows us, it's kinda dark."
Jack agreed, "how about we go for dinner?"
"I hope it won't be anything fancy because I am abit underdressed, as you can see."
"You look perfect to me."
"Are you always this sweet?"
Claire caught up to Jack's car and noticed it parked outside a mansion, "who's place is this?" she wondered, she climbed out, and the mansion was bigger than four of her houses combined.
Claire picked up her phone, "Marcus, are you sure you bugged the right car?"
"Yes, Claire, that house you are looking at belongs to Tania."
"You did this purposely, didn't you?"
"Do what, Claire?"
"Nevermind," Claire hung up the phone.
She walked to the mansion looking in; she hadn't seen anyone, "I wonder where they could have gone."
It's clear Tania had it all and wanted more. Claire walked back to the car and went to Tania's Facebook; she had checked into a local restaurant a few minutes ago and already had hundreds of likes and comments.
"What does everyone see in this brat?" she thought to herself as she drove to the restaurant; Claire had a pair of black jeans and a three-quarter fitted leather Jacket.
She entered the restaurant and ordered lemon water, choosing a seat in the corner as she watched the two.
"So besides modeling, what else do you do, Tania?"
"You can call me babe? Thats if your girlfriend doesn't mind." Jack went quiet, not answering, "call me Tania if that makes you comfortable. Anyway, I must apologize for how my brother spoke to you. He can be a Jerk sometimes."
"It's okay. I never expected anyone to welcome me with open arms." Tania stared at Jack's lips and eyes as he spoke; something about him made her feel safe.
"So you don't remember me, I take it?"
"I just never said anything. We were in science and mathematics together and went on that bus trip with the school?"
"Thats long ago. How do you remember all that?"
"Well, you do have one of those unforgettable beautiful eyes."
Tania blushed as she reached her hand over to his, "I know you better than you think I do," she smiled.
"That sounds worrying?" Jack laughed nervously, "Do not be worried. We all have that one special person we are not ready to let go of."
Jack stopped laughing while trying to understand exactly where she was taking this conversation.
Jack coughed, "excuse me."
"I know Jack, I know about Nicole, her disappearance." Claire could hear partial of the conversation; Tania now traced her index finger over his hand, "you seem tense, don't worry, I don't bite?"
"The last thing I am worried about is your biting. Just me and Nicolle. We weren't official as a couple we." Jack paused and looked around.
"Let's talk about something else," she cares with four fingers over his hand.
"So besides modeling and living in that beautiful mansion you stay in, what else do you do?"
"I'm studying Psychology. My hobby is dancing. How about you, Jack?"
"I haven't decided."
"That's too bad; maybe we could have gone to the same college?"
"What is that?"
"What is what?"Jack answered, following Tania's eyes.
"Alright, guys, keep your hands on the table, and no one gets hurt."
Three men were wearing black masks, covering their faces with guns in their hands.
"Not again?" Jack said as he placed his hands on the table, "don't panic; we will be fine."
"How can you tell me not to panic if they know who I am? They will try to hold me for ransom."
"Don't worry, you will be fine," Jack took the two knives on the table and slid them up his sleeve.
"These aren't the guys at the beach Jack, don't try anything stupid that will get us into trouble. We give them what they want and leave it up to the police, besides I only have my iPhone with me."
Jack never replied. Claire, who is at the table in the corner, worried more about Jack seeing these guys in front of her have guns. Thankfully the back of Jack's chair was facing her.
"You, lady, give us all your belongings." Claire emptied her pockets and gave them her phone.
"Where is the money? How we're you going to pay for the meal?"
"What meal? You only see lemon water in front of me."
The two men looked at eachother, and the guests in the restaurant were panicking. Another guy gave his limited edition black card to the thugs and his car keys. Luckily for Claire, she never keeps her keys in her side pocket.
The man walks up to Jack's table, "and the two of you? What can you give us?"
They pointed the guns at Jack, "you have what? I will do something about that stupid look on your face."
Jack kept his hands up as they searched him, taking the keys to the new Mercedes Benz from Tania. They searched him and never found anything in his pocket while standing.
"I don't trust this one," said the guy hitting him with the back of the gun to his head; he fell in his seat.
"Please don't hurt him," Tania pleaded, "look who's here if it's not the famous well-known public figure," they let go of Jack's collar and walked up to Tania, "I would say we can get a good, few million for you."
Tania worst thought came true. They were going to take her and demand ransom, "you're coming with us, the guy grabbed her by the arm. Standing up, Tania gripped the chair, "no, I am not going with you."
The man stretched out his arm, pointing the gun to the side of her head, "now is not the time to play. I will or will not; either you come with us or die."
Jack's head was hurting, and Claire patiently waited for Jack to react. She secretively hoped they would take her.
"You do know you won't get away with this. You know who I am and what I can do?"
"I know who you are, but you don't know who we are. Now come on, enough talking." He grabbed her by the hair so hard she screamed and pleaded for someone to help her.
Claire sat at the table, removed her gun from the back of her shorts, and slowly stood up. Her hair was loose. "Now come on, boys, that's not how you treat a girl," the men turned and pointed their guns at her, "a pretty dangerous doll you are?"
"You got that right, and I would put holes in you within a blink of an eye."
"You could maybe do that, but my friend here is dying to fire his gun, and last time I checked his faster than any gunman I know, so maybe you would want to reconsider your options. I mean, we are three, and you are one."
Claire realized she was outnumbered, and that's when the guy put the gun to Tania's head, "do you want to be the reason this insta model dies? Imagine how viral and hated you would be?"
He had a point; everyone loved Tania, but they didn't know that Claire was not worried because the fastest, most dangerous person was the one sitting beside them. Claire looked at Jack, nodded her head, and smirked, "goodbye, boys."
As fast as a bullet can strike, Jack stood up, sliding the two knives out of his sleeve, bumping the two man's guns out of their hands, and gripping both their arms, holding a knife to the two men's throat. Leaving only one guy to stand with the firearm holding it to Tania's head, "either you let her go, or your clowns will die."
Jack ripped off the masks of the two men, both in their late thirties, "and now we have a face," Jack turned and knocked the one guy out with his elbow to the head as he pulled out his gun, pushing it up in the other guy's mouth. "You have five seconds." His eyes turned darker. Claire's heart was racing just looking at him; he was in complete control as he pushed the gun into the other guy's mouth. "Time is not on your side," he removed the gun from the mouth, knocked the guy out with the back of the gun, and stood up straight sideways, pointing the gun to the guy holding the gun to Tania's head, "five, four, three, two, one."
