CHAPTER ONE: BAD NEWZ. (you all be like: the chapter isn't even started and the title is bad news lol)
It all started 8 months ago; when a 19-year-old Christien Anderson with the most beautiful visage was enjoying her tyranny with optimism. In the current situation, she is the hospital, hoping for a piece of good news. Christien: let's hope for the best...….
She is the daughter of her parents (obviously), but she lives with her father. You may wonder where is her mother, well she is a babysitter of a rich royal family in London. Yeah! The mother couldn't take care of her daughter. Her parents got divorced this year and since then their daughter, Christien, and her father moved to Leicester for her bright and better future. Her father, Mr. Anderson, is an employee in an average company.
8 months ago...….
Poor Christian is in her last year of college and will be attending her graduation soon. You think she is CCP { cute, cool, popular}, but no. she is cool to hang out with, nice and compassionate, but one thing that she was bullied was for not having a mother, like how come people can be so emotionless. Anyways, she was heading home from hell, I mean school, with test papers in her hand and a proud smile splattered on her face. As she entered her cozy house, she saw her father sitting on the sofa looking dread. As soon as he saw his charming daughter, he said Mr. Anderson: Christian can you please sit down? We need to talk. Christian could see the devastation in his eyes, his mouth frowned I could tell something was wrong. (Christian thought) Christian: is something wrong? What happened? Mr. Anderson: it's about your mom, Christian. That sentence just made Christine's heart stop. MOM!! the person I didn't see nor heard for months. They divorced when she was young and they left her in London. And now we are talking about her!! This makes her throat dry. Christian: What about her? Well, I don't care. Christian was very sad when her mom left her and since then she hated her but deep inside she loved her and remembered all the little moments they spend together.
Christian stood up from her seat and turned around to walk but something pulled her wrist back and it was her dad. When she turned around she saw her dad with tears in his eyes.
Mr. Anderson: your mom is in the hospital now. She is in critical condition…he said while crying(yup he still loves her). Long story short, her mom works for the royal family so she got busy and her dad questioned her about having affairs. Things didn't end well and they didn't bother to fix it :(. Sadness took over Christian after hearing that and seeing her parents cry. Christian: H-how did that happen? Is she going to stay here? Mr. Anderson: she is in a coma right now. When she went for shopping groceries she was accidentally hit by a car. It's a god's bless that the driver called the ambulance and paid the expenses or she would be dead by now There is not enough money to bring her here so she will stay in hospital in London. Christian sat beside him and pat his shoulder, she felt numb and didn't know how to react. Christian: can I go to London next week or so? He looks up and seemed worried, confuse, and sympathetic. He took my hand and held it a while and sighs. Mr. Anderson: I'm not going to let you go there, what if something happens to you? Christian: I'm old enough to handle myself, besides I want to see her. Just one please let me. She said the halfway truth, she didn't want to see her because it will hurt to her seeing her after such a long time but they were broke. They didn't have enough money, they only had the money for their living purposes. She knows her mom worked for some rich family so why not to replace her. She thought," besides the money she gave to us was not enough probably not wanting us to have much. My dad's work gives us what we need, not enough for our debt, I have no choice but to replace and work on behalf of her." Mr. Anderson: if u want to see her that badly I guess you can go but please be careful. Christian: thanks dad, I will prepare what I need, I will go to my room now. Don't think of it so much, mom is strong she can handle it. And these are my test papers, I came first in every subject. You should be proud of having such a smart daughter like me, she joked. Then a proud smile formed on his face as he congratulated her and nodded lightly allowing her to go to her room.
She jolted up to the stairs, entered her aesthetic room, and closed the door. A tear fell from her eye but she quickly wiped it away. Then she said to herself," this is my life. Plain and boring. I am used to it. The colors of happiness drained when I was ten. Many bullied me cause I didn't have a complete family. I want to feel "loved" by someone. My dad has tight schedules so he didn't give me much attention. But I grew older and started not to care anymore. I distance myself from toxic people, I never even experience any intimate relations." Then she grabbed her stuff and packed her clothes and her needs when she looks at a frame on the corner of her desk. It's a photo of her mom, dad, and her. She smiled as she remembered the moments and how innocent she was and didn't know that life can be this hard.
Mr. Anderson: I'm off to work. I left the money on the counter so you can buy your dinner. Bye, sweetie. He shouted from downstairs, as he left out through the front door (obviously). Christian: I can't wait to go to London and escape this lifestyle I have been living in. she freshen up and hoped on her bed, under the covers, resting her head on the pillow, she slowly closed her eyes feeling stress and problems fade away as she falls asleep seeing her sweet dreams.
