"Roselia Atarah?....is she a foreigner?...I've never heard of that name. What information do you have on her?..." Daisuke asked turning toward Director Clara as she was handed a cup of coffee by a technician. "It isn't rare to see a foreigner wanting to join the Knight Order...Captain of Division 5 is from the Republic of Dominika after all."
"I'm uncertain...we only have general information from the application posted...her Resume and Stats we're high enough to qualify on their own...in fact. When I read her profile, I seemed to recall her level of Mana being close to Kira's..." Clara replied taking a small sip from her cup and placing it on the side holder; as she glanced up at the monitor "she was able to procure a letter of recommendation from a highly respected source. So I hope she can live up too those standards....her opponent. Rei Tora, out of all the Brothers. They call him a Destructive force of nature..."
"Who would that source be?....." Daisuke questioned placing the top of his fingers on his chin, in deep thought before realizing it was hopeless to place it together "Though I couldn't guess...Can't even see what she looks like under that hoodie..."
"You know them very well...it was your brother. Kisuke. Before his confirmed death...he wrote a letter recommending we add someone specific to the order. that letter he left was delivered to me over a month ago, and when her application came up I had no choice but to respect his wishes...Roselia Atarah was the name on that letter..." The Director ended up telling it how it is, Kisuke was Daisuke's older brother so it would be wrong to withhold that sort of information.
'K-Kisuke?...' Daisuke's eyes widened at the mention of his name; returning his attention too the screen 'Why would Kisuke write a letter of Recommendation that long ago. Dante's 17 years old and he died 6 months into Angil's Pregnancy. This Roselia is at least 16...how could he have known she would be born?...' he thought curiously as he pointed over to one of the various computer techs.
"wait....when is her birthday?..." he suddenly asked as the tech ran the application form on her on a nearby computer and spoke up "December 10th....."
'Dante was born In June...he turned 17 recently. That means their only 6 months apart....did Kisuke know this girls parents?...What was going on in your head Kisuke?...' The Black haired veteran was trying to wrap his head around the newfound information on this unknown foreigner and stared at the screen 'Who is this girl to you?...why was she important enough for you to care about nearly two decades later...'
Director Clara stared at Daisuke's expressions, closing her eyes as she herself couldn't quite understand the connection "At Any rate....A Recommendation from him. Is nothing to be taken lightly. I could never refuse it....his words carry the weight of worlds...I wonder what he found so special about her?...though I suppose...We'll see soon enough..."

"Their a Tricky bunch. I didn't know Ryoka well...but I went to the same Junior High as Rei and Rin..." The brown haired Swag male explained as he basically gave the whole nine yards on them; as much as he knew. "Rei....is the wildcard. He's not the insane type but he's sadistic, I'd say he's more of a hothead...he uses a Bow and Arrow; from what I remember he could concentrate his Mana into The bow and release it through the Arrows...but I'm not sure just how powerful he's gotten it's been a while since then...and I can't remember-...theirs an element he could invoke with his Mana. But I don't recall that either..."
Cole stood their listening intently as he looked over at the battlefield with intrigue "that sounds insane-...it's pretty rare for warriors to invoke actual elements. It takes skill and finesse...but. I think Rose could do the same! I saw her use winds with her attacks during the Race...I don't know her well. But I hope I get the chance too if she passes this.."
"Your such a lame...depending on the element Rei can use.. if it's Water her chances of winning are normal. Wind, I give it fifty fifty. If he uses Earth it's even slimmer...if it's fire...then I'll say she's screwed. Because Wind...just makes Fire stronger..." Yuma basically layed out her chances on a silver platter though he paused at the sounds Of Dante exhaling in disbelief "what? Don't believe me Dante-Kun?"
"Nah. That's not it...you guys are really smart. Knowledgeable And tactical..it's impressive but. I can't get passed your lack of faith in people..." Dante simply put how he felt on the table; as his Aqua eyes stared at Rose her body's Aura covered in purple Mana; the feeling he felt at the beginning when she walked by was even more intense than before. "I think it doesn't matter what disadvantage or advantage someone has. The scales might tip in his favor...but everyone has a weakness, Rose can find it. I can see she's really experienced..."
"I agree..." Kira chimes in actually agreeing with Dante; as she also stared at Rose's fighting stance the Weapon of choice gave her the idea that Rose was experienced and her very demeanor was enough to support that. "It's not always about Power...and Advantages. Sometimes...improvising on the spot. Is good enough to win battles?..."

That will be a fatal mistake.." with the whipping of strong airs, the red haired girl moved with the grace of a dance as she rushed at the Amber eye'd Tora Brother swinging her sword in a swift manner; aiming for his neck and a quick kill.
Rei Tora chuckled sinisterly at her words, as he pulled an apparatus from his pocket hitting a button on the Technology; it formed into a large metallic bow and in a spinning movement swung it high and then ducking it downward blocking her attack head on; their Mana's collided the force of a thrashing tornado as their weapons clanked against each other and shook from their strengths pushing. "I'm not underestimating you at all...In fact. I think we'll have some fun you and I. The problem is...When we arrived at the finish line; I saw the remainder of the Race. You use Wind together with your Mana..it's different! I've never met a wind user before unfortunately that'll be your downfall..."
"What are you saying?...that my wind won't reach you?...because it already has..." Rose replied with small hint of sass, as blood trickled from the cuts on his cheek's which made him grunt "so you we're already using it...backing up your slashes with razor sharp wind. I knew you we're crazy strong. I can feel your Mana...your about as strong as the Narukami Heiress...it's too bad...." His eyes grew menacingly as he stared down at the girl "I'll burn you to ash-..." his own Mana erupted from his body, covering him in intense Flames revealing his Fire Nature. "You have no chance...Atarah..."
Rose's emerald eyes widened at the sight of Fire; in an instant she leaped backward and away before she could be burned as the heat radiating off of Rei was enough to make her break a sweat 'a Fire User?....that means. I'm at a disadvantage....'
"If you think your screwed now...wait. Because now that you've cut me. I'm going to take that personally..." aiming his bow at her and pulling on the string; an Orange Arrow of concentrated Mana appeared between his fingers and bowstring covered in fire. "Burn them to ash...Īkari!..." releasing the arrow; it shot like a missile at insane speeds leaving a trail of fire behind it.
Rose sidestepped dodging it, as she pumped Mana into her feet to increase her speed along with using the wind to flow gracefully, her head bolted to the side mid-dodge as another flaming arrow flew passed her missing by mere inches 'two?...he shot two that quickly..' as she landed the tremors of a double explosion could be head glancing backward; the sight of two raging inferno's covering craters. 'So...his Cursed Mana. Increases his Momentum and flames. Doubling their explosive power and impact....on top of that. His Reload Speed-...if I get hit with one. I'm a goner..."
"Nice dodge! Roselia~...very nice! Not only are you fast with your mana but you use the wind to push yourself further...you know. If Ryoka was the Quickest draw with his Dagger. Than I'm the fastest at reloading my bow....so keep your eyes on my arrows. It might help you survive...for a bit! Hehe..." Rei had his fingers primed and ready as he loaded another flame arrow "neh...Roselia....Start running..."
"Fire...that's his element after all. I had a feeling it was something like that.." Yuma shook his head, feeling embarrassed that he could recall it earlier maybe if he had warned Rose it wouldn't have been much of a surprise. "Wind vs Fire...that's just a terrible match up. It's always the lame asses that pick on the quite girls.."
"I-I feel like your the type to pick on the quite ones.." Cole retorted softly making Yuma's head fall like an Anvil hit him "take it easy there...you got a way with words for a scaredy cat-.."
"Even so...It seems all the brothers have trained themselves to balance their Mana output with a certain aspect of movement...Ryoka Tora could summon and retract his Odachi Blade in seconds like a Quick drawing cowboy....Rei Tora he's reloading his Arrows so fast I barely notice it....Rose-Chan if she can use wind to move will be fine with evading, but she can't get close as long as he fires that quickly I think her only chance would be to take him down long distance..." Cole gave his opinion on a solid strategy that perhaps could work "that's if she can cut through his Fire mana...using air abilities might just make his flames burn further..."
'His mana's so intense...I can feel the heat from all the way over here....' Dante thought to himself watching the battle with curiosity; taking close observations of their movements 'so on top focusing mana into her legs and feet...the basics of moving faster, she can make the wind carry her further. So...Rose can possibly move even faster but at cost of more Mana. Though from what I get before she has a ton. What's stopping her from getting close? The possibility of getting burned-...Shit. I just noticed he's using his Mana Fire as a shield even if she did get close it's of no use she'd just hurt herself....what could she possibly do? Rei's backed her in a corner..'
With her Katana blade in hand, Roselia continued to dodge and evade the Explosive Arrows though only with inches to spare each time 'I'm being cautious with my Mana. But so far-...he had the upper hand...if I don't use some more I'll be a goner. Tch...but I don't want to draw attention to myself either...' she thought grimacing as the heat was intense with each shot being fired an explosion of flames would follow making her a bit nervous; finally landing on her feet with a quick action movement; swinging her blade in a circle as winds pressurized and followed her she let off two insanely powerful slashes "Slice them to bits...Kami sori no kaze!" The two separate attacks morphed and became dozens of razor sharp air pulses flying toward the fire Archer.
The Amber eye's Rei stepped back, as he increased the flames surrounding his body and firing several arrows to counter the whips of wind while his barrier protected him from the remainder and in fact just made it stronger "Heh! I told you Atarah....Your winds their not going to reach me. My fire Burns to hot!...but if it's game of tag you want to play..." placing three of his fingers on the bowstring; Three Flaming arrows developed at the same time "I'll just make you run faster!!...burn them to ash!...Īkari times Three!"
The Missile like Arrows zipped across the field toward Rose; as her eyes widened at the incoming simultaneous attack deciding that sidestepping wouldn't be enough she gripped her blade and rushed forward towards the middle arrow as her purple aura exploded "Kami sori no kaze!..crashing Tornado!." This time slashing downward the energy of her sword expanded into an F1 Tornado of vibrant winds countering the Explosive arrow.
The hot headed Tora brother was shocked "You could counter this entire time. So you we're holding back...." His eyebrow twitched in annoyance at her actions "you we're the one underestimating me this whole time while I took you seriously is that it?...disrespectful. I won't take such disrespect from an Emo girl like you!..you thought that this was as fast as I can shoot! I'll show you..not to screw with me!!" Within seconds of realizing she had only been taking it easy; he loaded up four arrows this time and fired them but not before repeating it again and again in speedy succession practically shooting entire flurries of them.
The explosions we're like a dozen mortars going off at the same time, as Rose began to dodge and counter them in swift sword dancing like movements 'I've made him angry...he's simply increasing the amount of arrows to shoot-...I have to end this. All this Destruction's going to get to much attention on me...' the battle raged on wind sword clashing with fiery arrows of explosions.
The crowd was in Awe at the epic ordeal between these two; and even some of the girls apart of Yuma's Fangirl club we're rooting for the Weird Redhead to win though no doubt because of their apparent respect for each other. Though some began to question just who the heck is she and if she's this powerful why haven't they heard of her before; admits that the faint sounds of 'Atarah! Atarah! Atarah!' Echoed throughout the Arena in support.
"Damn it!! How are you so fast?! How much Mana do you have?!!! Theirs no way you could counter and run this long! Your some sort of freak! My cursed Mana should be blowing you out of the water!!" Rei yelled in frustration, it's as if he had never been this embarrassed by anyone before and the cheering of her name wasn't helping. "This is Bullshit! We did what we had too do to get this strong! Now all of sudden a monster like you comes around and the crowd favors you! That's! Stupid!.."
"Mon...ster?..." Rose paused as she heard the insult, under her hoodie it seemed to have shaded further as her Mana bursted and Aura exploded further getting bigger and bigger Even superseding Rei's; the ground trembles and breaks apart; solid dirt rising up with her power "Did you. just call me...a Monster?..."
"T-This Mana...it's monstrous..." Cole shook as he felt Rose's power surge, making him fall to one knee at the pressure being displayed "S-she was hiding this under her belt.....how could someone hide so much Mana?!...in a battle that's dragged this long.." he spoke showing fear at her energy as he began to think of something suspicious 'this...doesn't feel human..'
"Lycoris-...is really something else?..." Yuma said as he stared at her in bewilderment; the wind blew past him making the swag boy cover his eyes to block it from dust, once it sub-cedes his brown eyes looked up at the battle once again 'I've never met someone with Mana that color....and only high noble clans could have Power that vast...who is she really?...Atarah isn't a clan that I know of..'
'Watching closely...I could tell she was keeping her true Mana hidden...after all. Only a genius can Gauge another genius...' Kira thought dark blue eyes observing Rose closely, she didn't seem taken aback by the sudden burst but she was certainly interested. 'This is certainly Mana of someone at the top of their Clan and peers...but-...if she has been this powerful all this time. Why have I never heard of the name Roselia Atarah?...'
The Brute Ogrekiller was livid, as a vein was about ready to pop on his forehead, piercings glimmering from the shine of her aura "This is getting annoying!...all of a sudden secret strong people are showing up.....if I had been matched with her. I'd have cut her head off already..."
Rei's entire expression changed from Anger to fearful as he took a step back, witnessing the extremely large burst of Mana made chills drive through his body 'A-all of this power?-....she's been hiding it. Only a Genius Mana user could do such a thing?!....damn it!!..' he thought priming Three Fire arrows and Firing them at her 'how could this be? We came prepared to this thing?! Guaranteed to win by him!..h-he promised that all of it was-..huh?!-'
The hoodie wearing female; practically disappeared into thin air the faint sounds of rushing winds similar to those of a storm could be heard his Amber eyes couldn't follow her movements as her shot arrows at random not hitting anything at all. 'S-she's too fast?!...huh?...she's moving around me?!!..' he thought realizing she had begun running in circles, her speed was so vast she was breaking the very wind barriers her Mana created Thats when Panic started to set in.
"Nani!..Nani!!..I'm not going too lose to you!...you freak!!" Rei huffed as he aimed an ultra concentrated projectile up to the sky and fired like a firework it bursted and it began to rain hundreds of explosive arrows down at their position "Īkari! Raining Firestorm!!!"
Dante was in shock as well, Aqua eyes looking at Rei's panicked expression while watching Rose's movements 'Shes so fast!...but I can see her...even still....the amount of Mana She's outputting. It's Amazing! Even more than Yuma-San!...'
"Futile..." Rose's voice was cold and freezing in nature as her movements we're so fast you could barely see an apparition of her, followed by the purple Trail of Mana "your flames are useless now.....your in my trap....Kami sore no kaze...Rising Whirlwind..." from her laps of running; a Tornado erupted the circle she created as it swirled higher and higher catching all of the raining arrows; the Whirlwind mixed with flames made it burn into a Fire Tornado.
"Nani?!...she...stopped my flames....her Attacks combining with my own!...making hers stronger...she's using my advantage against me?!...." Rei paused as his breathe got caught; and his hand reached his neck he was losing oxygen the Tornado was decreasing breathing room rapidly as he floated upward being lifted off of his feet helpless and high above the flaming Cyclone 'I-I can't lose?!!....My Fire can't be snubbed!! I'm the strongest Archer there is!! Do you know how much I gave up for this?!...it's not possible! I'm unbeatable!...'
"You talked a big game and I humored you....but now your scared. Helpless against my Wind....because of your reckless mouth. I'll finish this match with a bang..." Roselia continued her monologue, as she finally stopped running her technique continued itself gripping her blade harshly and concentrating Mana she dived into the flaming tornado riding its swirling air like a surfer before flying above Rei; a menacing glare in her emerald eyes "Kami sore no Kaze....Tornado Impact!!" Diving at sonic Speeds with a brilliant Slash of Purple Mana followed by a torrent of destructive winds "don't your ever..call me a monster!..again!!!" Trailing down to the bottom; the Whirlwind Exploded in a flash of brimstone "AAAAAAAGHHHHH?!!!!!!" Rei's screams could be heard descending with the Attack.
The Remaining Competitors in the vicinity closed their eyes at the incoming Rush of dirt; ash and Wind for several seconds before it finally let up "T-that was..insane...." Cole mentioned in awe waiting for the dust cloud to clear up in anticipation for the Victor.
Once it settled, Rose Stood tall over the unconscious body of Rei Tora laying in a crater of her making as she sheathed her Katana and was breathing heavily 'I...put out so much...I'm feeling Fatigued. I got to angry....' She thought before an Announcement was made suddenly.
"The Winner of the Second Match....Roselia Atarah!....." The Proctor Ibuki announced standing Their staring at Rose suspiciously; before the Arena Erupted in a cheer making her blush under her hoodie what she hadn't realized was how burnt up and tattered the over jacket was and in that instant it flew off of her as it had gotten lose while she was in the flaming tornado making her eyes go wide as she watched it escape her attire and drop too the floor revealing Long Crimson Red hair held up in a ponytail but it was definitely long; and emerald green eyes now in clear view along with Fair smooth skin.
'N-no way?!...' Ibuki paused as his cigarette fell from his mouth onto the floor; a bead of sweat on the side of his head at the sight. "Roselia Atarah....you're-.."
"Now this just got interesting....here I thought she was a boring emo girl..." Regis commented smirking sinisterly; while Cole was dead silent in complete and utter shock.
Yuma was in the middle of walking over to Her; when he paused right behind the girl his brown eyes stared as they dropped the charming act and went into full disbelief "Lycoris....your a Knife Ear?" He said the rude nickname without even thinking about it.
Dante titled his head; as the Crowd gasped in shock and silence murmuring shady things under their breathes as he looked at Kira "What's the big deal? Her ears are just pointed?" He asked suddenly
"That...explains her vast Mana.....and why she was hiding her appearance before..." Kira's arms dropped to her sides staring at Rose "how could you not understand??...Dante...she's...She's an Elf!..and not just any Elf. A Dark Elf! Here in Titan City!.."
The White haired male had no clue what was going on until he heard what Kira explained and his own eyes narrowed and then went wide as well " a Dark Elf?...wait you don't mean-....an Actual DARK ELF?!."
