Raghav smiled at his friend and moved with Meera taking her hand in his. Truth to be told he never felt that attracted towards anyone before. The way she held his hand it felt so perfect. The way her smile widened when he said she was his fiance, his heart had skipped a beat.
Even now when they are walking together like this, his heart was beating very loud even when he knew that this was just a casual dance. Her fiance was nothing but just a lie.
Lost in his thoughts he didn't even realise that they had reached the dance floor. Stopping her footsteps broke his reverie and he scratched his nape in embarrassment.
Putting his other hand on her waist, he waltzed she followed in sync. Their steps were so coordinated it felt like they had danced together since eternity. Her eyes were on his face, burning his body. He could feel the heat melting him even
When the gaze was nothing but grateful.
Meera thanked the lord for having the same way of dancing as humans, even when there is so much hatred between them. She could follow his steps perfectly. Smiling, she looked at Raghav but furrowed her brows looking at his face.
she looked at the man who was getting red every passing minute, 'is this a human disease, or they really are this red.' She gazed at him intently and the redness increased.
"Are you okay?" she couldn't help but ask as his body was sweating profusely.
"Yeah, I am. Why?" he asked the girl who was boring him with her intense gaze.
"You are red, and also sweating." she told the obvious and he coughed in embarrassment.
"Its… it's nothing. I worked a lot today, maybe that's why." he made the most lame excuse but his mind isn't working enough to think anything more believable but the girl nodded and smiled.
'Looks like she bought it, how innocent my meera is'
His eyes widened and mouth opened at his own thought. He took his hand back, which was holding hers as if it was scalding hot. 'My meera, how did the girl become mine. Just what the hell am I thinking.'
"If you are not feeling well you should rest." said Meera, looking at his weird expressions and actions.
"No, I am fine," he replied holding her hands again and continued the dance cursing his mind in between.
"So what do you do Meera?" he asked to change the topic and keep himself calm.
"I work with my mother in the garden, we grow vegetables there. But i am not as strong as her." she replied with a bright smile.
'Okay, he has to admit he wasn't expecting this kind of reply. Working in a company, doctor, even teacher or studying hadnt sounded this different. But her smile covered it all. He felt so refreshed and rejuvenated just by looking at her smile.
"I am sure it would be very exciting." he replied with the same bright smile.
"Of course. We even raced a few times, who will grow a plant first." shr replied laughing, even her eyes were twinkling.
'Race to grow, race to sow seeds he could understand, but isn't it dependent on nature, when will a plant grow! All of her wordings were far from his understanding yet he felt so good listening to them while looking at her shiny eyes.' "Even if I would like to grow plants someday, maybe you can teach me a thing or two." he replied with a smile.
On the other side
Tammana was glaring at the man who had stopped her from taking meera with her. Instead of apologising, the man had a smirk on his face which increased her anger further.
She smiled shyly, fluttering her eyes and bit her lips, and as expected his expressions changed. She was sure the man was lost in her charms. Being sure he was not paying attention anymore, she put her heels over his foot with full force.
"Aahh" his shriek sounded and a few heads turned towards their direction.
She smirked, folding her hands over her chest and said haughtily, "don't you ever try to play smart with me !" with that she moved away from there.
"Crazy" he shouted and rubbed her feet. 'She definitely is mad he cursed her and moved to the other area.
They both stood at the opposite sides watching the couple who were dancing and talking with bright smiles over their faces. But Tammana and Rehaan both still have sour faces and they were throwing daggers at each other in between.
Eventually the manager came to call rehaan to look into some urgent matter and he moved from there.
Even Tammana felt bored standing and waiting there for Meera who was dancing happily, so when a man asked her to dance politely she agreed happily.
Moving with him on the dance floor she decided to have her first and last dance before they could go back.
So the music continued and so did the dance and both girls forgot about the events that happened with them but it can't be said for everyone else.
None of them noticed that a pair of brothers were looking at the scene unfolding from starting to end in front of them standing at the second floor of the club. They have an evil smirk on their face. "Looks like we finally found a way to teach a lesson to them brother" said Garv with an evil smile on his face.
"Ssshhh, even walls have ears brother." he replied smiling back.
