The sun had set that day, and the King wasn't yet back from his trip with Walter.
Theodore hadn't been able to get himself back after the incident with Eric. Staying in the palace just frustrated his thoughts more and more, and he felt it was time he needed some fresh air.
He freshened up, and left without his guards.
He took his horse, galloping through the night, through the path behind the castle.
His thoughts couldn't be blown away so easily by the wind. And so, he stopped, tired that even his favorite activity wasn't helping him either.
His horse huffed lightly, and he sighed out of frustration.
"I can't even be at peace with you here."
The horse neighed lightly, and he came down her, caressing her from the neck to the face.
