"Why does Maki always force me to do her chores" Shizou uttered while letting out a groan. "Well as if I'll keep doing her chores everyday, it's just for today since i had that really good dream just now tee-hee" (Refers to chapter 2).
"Alright it's time! now let's see" Shizou then took out his to-do list. "...." Shizou was disappointed in himself because he clearly did not understand his penmanship "Dammit I can't read my own penmanship, Oh pen gods why do you have to be so cruel T^T" He said as he was sulking over his handwriting.
(P.s the author of this novel really has bad handwriting.)
"Ok first! fish market!" At this point he burnt his to-do list and just memorized the chores that he will be doing. "I'll just clean the cabin later when i get home" He thought. "Alright let's go me!" And so the journey of our main protagonist going to the fish market begins!
"Wow that is one big salmon" Shizou said with an interested tone of voice. "Of course! it's our biggest catch yet" The vendor replied. Shizou quickly thought in his head "Meh, grandpa caught a way bigger fish back when i was newly adopted". "So? what do you say? if you give me 500 han, I'll give you a free medium salmon along with this big salmon" The vendor seems to have made an offer. Surprisingly enough, our main protagonist is not stupid enough to actually fall for a scam. "Yep that's definitely a scam" he thought with a disappointed face.
Shizou replied "Thank you for the offer but I'll decline", the vendor then thought to himself "I thought i can outsmart this brat tsk, it seems he's not stupid as he looks". "Fine fine" The vendor said with an irritated voice. Shizou then continued looking for some salmon so they can eat breakfast. (Yes you read that right, a worthy salmon!).
[10 Minutes later]
"Finally, a worthy salmon!" Shizou exclaimed. The new vendor was confused as to why this egghead was excited over a salmon "Uh so do you want it or no?" "Of course! i want it!" Shizou quickly replied with sparkle in his eyes. The vendor thought to himself "What a weird kid". "Ok that will be 200 han" The vendor uttered. As Shizou was walking to home, he can't resist but to look at the salmon. (A true salmon man i must say!)
"I'm home" Shizou uttered while taking off his flip flops he used to go to the fish market. "Oh you're back" his sister replied. "Here's the fish" Shizou uttered in a proud voice. "Hehh you bought a good one Shizou, grandpa will be pleased" His sister replied. Shizou responded "Hmp, what can i say? I guess I'm a true salmon man" He said with a proud voice. "Yeh...right.." his sister quickly thought "Weirdo".
Shizou then quickly remembered something "Oh! speaking of grandpa, where is he?". "He's still in his bed" his sister replied. "Oh" Shizou uttered with a slightly sad voice. "Are you still worried about grandpa?" his sister asked. "Of course, i mean, I'm indebted to him, and you. You two are my family even though i don't know where and who are my real parents. So i won't know what to do if either one of my precious family leave me..." His sister smiled and gave him a pat on his head "There, there. We won't leave you, you can count on your sister!" Shizou shed a tear and hugged his sister "Thank you".
"Ahhhhh!" The sound of what looks like pain, coming from where their grandpa sleeps. Shizou and Maki quickly ran into their grandpa's room. "Grandpa!"
