For many years my kind has been fighting and within those past years, many have fallen, one of those fallen was my father. My dear father how I miss you so, you were the only one that cared about me as I am not like my other siblings. Most of my siblings are warriors and the others are healers, while I choose to not fight and I am too clumsy to be a healer. So I just sit in my room drawing or sketching, it's my favorite hobby to do to pass the time. My siblings tease me because I am wingless and alone, they all have boyfriends or girlfriends for the upcoming New Years' party.
Meanwhile, in the Demon Kingdom.
The king was pacing through his office while his right and left hands were watching him quietly. He was muttering words under his breath when his mother walked into his office. "My dear son, please calm down. I'm just trying to lighten you up a bit, you can't stay alone forever." The king looked at his mother and snarled out a response. "I don't need anyone, as all they want is my power. Also, just because I have a female in my room for a night doesn't mean anything. I just get so damn bored, and you are lucky I don't send you to the dungeon mother. " His mother frowned and rolls her eyes. "Damon, you are just as stubborn as your father." The king was now known as Damon softened at the mention of his father before it becoming rage. "He left us, mother! How can you still even think of him?! He just walked out upon seeing me, he never will be my father. So don't you EVER mention him again! Got it?!" The two hands flinched as power radiated off of Damon, even his mother cowered and just nodded before quickly leaving the office. Damon looks at his two hands and sighs. "Is everything ready for the New Year's party?" He asked and the right hand nodded his head. "Yes, sir, and the invitations all have been delivered. Though we seemingly have misplaced one, Your Highness. " Damon shakes his head, chuckling darkly. "Just great, some human or those stupid angels might have the invite and will be going to the party, and we wouldn't know. Perfect, absolutely perfect. " He commanded the two to find the invitation by any means necessary, as he didn't want any party crashers. Damon sat down at his desk, putting his face in his hands, letting out a long frustrated groan. A part of him hated this war, but those angels needed to learn their lesson. Even though at this point he doesn't even remember what lesson they had to learn or what they did to need it, the war has dragged on to the point he didn't remember much. At this point, Damon enjoyed the breaks in the war, it gave him time to breathe and relax. Though this time he can't breathe and relax knowing that his enemy could have easy access to his kingdom. He bit his lip, trying to think of a solution, but everything ended in a dead-end, also causing him to eventually pass out on his desk.
A/N: The first chapter is done! Please excuse how I wrote it, I'm still learning how to write a book correctly. Though all that matters is that hopefully, everyone will enjoy it and want more as I'll be working on the next chapter. Not sure how long I'll make it, I guess it depends on how much my imagination has in store for the chapter. Anyway, I'll see everyone in the next chapter of "Demons and Angels V1"!
