Chapter 1 - The Competition

No one's POV

"AND A PERFECT TRIPPLE AXEL!!!" The one judge cheered.

The blond haired boy glided across the ice, intriguing the judges by his body moving freely and naturally.

As his coach taught him, practice makes perfect.

The boy stopped in the middle of the ice rink and waited for the judges to give him his score.

He looked up at one of the screens show casing al the skater's marks.

Song Ji Min :10

                     10

                     10

                     10

"WHOOOOOOOO!!!!" the crowd burtsed out in cheers, whistles and screams all because Min had the highest score so far from all 37 figure skaters.

With a total of 40 points Min had 3 more points than the girl before him.

"Thank you Song Ji Min. You did amazing. Next up is Kim y/n."

Min swiftly moved off of the ice and gave a smirk for his next apponent.

"If you don't stop smirking I will slap you so hard even the judges from across the ice will feel it." y/n threatened.

Y/n walked past Min specifically aiming to hit his shoulder.

She striked and then stepped onto the ice with one of her skates.

She put her second skate onto the ice, feeling her nerves tensing up a little bit.

Y/n POV

Oh god... Ok I know I've skated in front of judges a lot but I don't know this time just makes me nervous.

I started to skate forward until I was in the middle of the rink. I stopped and sat down on the ice facing the judges.

I sat with my legs crossed and my hands arched a little backwards on the ice supporting my leaning back.

I looked down into my lap and then when the music started I rose my head to face the judges.

The song I was skating to was called 'In my mind' by Dynoro.

As soon as the song sang "IN MY MIND IN MY HEAD THIS IS WHERE WE ALL CAME FROM." I pushed myself backwards.

As I slid backwards I quickly stood up. My white skates making me quickly speed up and act out the movements I practiced.

With a twist I hurriedly skated forward. Full speed I made a jump into the air, just when the beat drop I landed on the ice.

I bent down while keeping my leg straight pointing backwards whilst still gliding on the ice.

As the song sped up even more one move was on my mind.

It's a tricky one. Of all the performances I have done this was the hardest but still my favorite.

I skated my fastest around the rink and made my way towards the middle again. I quickly made a triple axel. But here is where the surprise comes in... Just as I landed on the ice I quickly scattered downwards laying on my back just as planned.

The music slowed down a little bit before heading to the climax.

As I laid on my back I used my feet to push me backwards.

The music sped up again causing my to sit up. My feet pointing sharply in front of me.

I bent towards my legs making them both go to there sides, basically splitting.

As I laid in a split position with my legs on my sides and my stomach touching the ice, I brought my legs together and stood up slowly while stil skating backwards

I took another leap into the air before successfully hitting the ice and making one last move before stopping in the middle of the rink rink with my hands in the air and smiling.

I was looking at the judges feeling the nervous pit in my stomach in gage.

I lowered my hands while I looked for my name on the score bored.

Y/n:10

       10

       10

        9

When I saw the number 9 again I mentally cursed myself and internally started crying.

I PRACTICED FOR 6 DAMN MONTHS AND GOT ANOTHER 39?!

Calm down y/n.

"Ahh y/n you did beautifully. Next time when you go down to split make sure to stretch first because I notice you were a little bit stiff but other than that you were amazing!"

"Thank you." I said as I skated back to the small glass door seeing a smirking Min.

"So second place hu? How does it feel for the 7th time in a row?" the idiot asked me as I walked past him drinking some water.

I just sat on the bench wait for the judges to call first, second and third place to come stand on the stands and receive our medals.

"In third place we have Kai.

In second place we have Kim y/n

And finally our first place winner is the one the only Song Ji Min!" the judge  cheered.

We walked up to the stands and was rewarded with our medals.

I shook hands with one of the judges and then walked back to the locker rooms.

~the locker room~

" Aghhhh!!! " I moaned.

Why does Min keep wining?! I practice day and night not to mention longer hours than him. Why do I always have 1 f*cking point less than he has?!!

"Lisa wil probably be proud that you got second place am I right?" Min came walking in the locker room.

A sly smirk on his face indicating he's about to brag again.

"Oh shut tf up will you" I said with a sigh and took off my skates.

"So... How's life treating you?"Min asked grinning.

I put on my black sneakers , and white jacket over my also black costume.

I grabbed my bag and turned around facing him.

"Fine"

After I answered, I stormed out of the ice rink towards my car where I threw my bag in the passengers seat.

As soon as I sat down and buckled up my seat belt I looked out of my window with my head slightly laying against the  glass window.

I sighed again which caused my window to fog up a little due to the cold weather. Blowing out puffs of white air I noticed  just a few cars away walking towards his car was Min. He was throwing his stuff in the trunk.

He doesn't look that happy though... More like sad.

Ehh I don't care especially after he beat me with one f*cking point. Did you hear me? ONE POINT!!!
