Chereads / Destined Ene-Mate / Chapter 5 - 5. Midnight

Chapter 5 - 5. Midnight

"Well, he'll surely love that you kickass," she supplies

"I'm sure he would," She said in a dead tone. If it was anyone else they would have thought Asonya is insane because no she-wolf in the world doesn't want a mate, all she-wolves are dying to meet their one and only soul mate. Someone that is meant only for her.

Tyeeka just sees her as to how she is and won't judge her but she's a little worrisome that her mate is going to have a hard time with her. She could only imagine the trouble she is going to cause for her.

Knowing Asonya and her wolf she knows that she might be paired with a high-ranking wolf. Maybe a gamma or a beta, maybe even an alpha. Tyeeka would be lying if she said that she isn't intimidated by her best friend and her wolf. She's surrounded by this strong aura that pushed off her in waves that would put any wolf ranking under her into submission.

Tyeeka did take advantage of this but not in a bad way. Being friends with her meant that no one messed with her. They became friends since the start of high school. No one wanted to approach the aloof girl but the timid girl took a deep breath exhaling as she decided to sit at the same table as her.

When Tyeeka had sat down Asonya sitting across from her didn't even acknowledge her presence only continues to eat. Tyeeka tried doing the same occasionally looking up at the Asonya until she decided to strike up a conversation with her.

"Hey, what's your name?" She asked hoping to bring life to the table. There was no answer. "My name is Tyeeka, nice to meet you." No answer again.

Three girls sat at a table by themselves chatting and laughing until one of them say the two sitting at the table together. "Isn't that weird girl sitting with that silent freak? It's true when they say you must stay with your own kind," she smiled mockingly.

They laughed before one of them got up with a box of milk and the other two followed. There was no words spoken between them but they all knew what was going to happen.

Before anyone could blink it happened. She fake tripped leaning the open milk box over Tyeeka's head and let it all pour out on her.

Shocked, Tyeeka jumped up out of her chair gasping. The milk running down her hair, in her face and onto her blouse. The three troublesome girls smiled secretly before sobering up their face going neutral while the instigators had on a sorry face.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to I tripped and I'm so sorry, here a napkin," she was putting on a great act but Tyeeka saw through it all. Students were laughing and again Tyeeka was humiliated by Monique.

"You're sorry," Tyeeka said angry, more upset when she saw who had caused the fake trip and spill. "You did this on purpose," she glared at Monique not taking the napkin that she offered.

"It was an accident Tyeeka and I said I'm sorry don't need to get so mean I'm just trying to apologize." She said in a pitiful stare and the most innocent look she can pull off.

"You want to apologise then apologise for being such a bitch!" Tyeeka said in irritation. Frustrated with Monique and her antics. She's always pulling stunts like this.

The innocence that Monique was wearing on her face immediately slips off her face replaced with a sneer. Lifting up her hand the the box milk in it she poured the rest of it over Tyeeka's head. Tyeeka wipes her eyes blowing away milk from her mouth when she gasped and some went into her mouth.

"Now that wasn't an accident." When the carton was empty she drops it on top of her head where it land then fall to the ground.

Spinning around she grabbed the apple juice off the table pull it open drink some and spit it out on Monique some spraying on her friends. Even with milk in her eyes she was able to spit it in her face.

Monique jumped back screeching in shock and started wiping at her face with the previously offered napkin. "You bitch." She grabbed Tyeeka in her hair and dragged her towards her. At which Tyeeka tried to prey her hands off but her grip was tight.

Suddenly there was a growled that made everyone paused, eyes wide, staring at the only person that was unaffected by everything that was happening until it was getting physical.

Tyeeka was the first to snap out of it. With Monique grip loosen on her hair she pulled free snapping Monique out of her trance.

"Did she just growled at me?" Her friends were slowly backing off frighten feeling something rise in the air before it was gone. Their wolves was scared so they were scared too.

Either Monique didn't sense it or she did but wasn't going to cower. "Monique I think we should leave them alone," one of the two said eyes still wide.

Monique only gave a humourless laugh. "You must be joking Ashley, there is no way I'm going to leave them alone now, that trash just spit apple juice in my face and that..." she said pointing at Asonya with her painted nails. "thing just growled at me."

"C'mon Monique we can get them next time. Right Claire?" Claire nodded eagerly like she can't wait to high tail it out of there.

"What are you two so afraid of? It's just two weak freaks. It's three of us and two of them if they can fight, that's if they can we can surely take them. It would be nice to rip into their fur and teach them a lesson," she said smiling at the two arrogantly.

The two exchanged look before shaking their head. "I think I'll sit this one out."

"Me too." Claire agreed and they both leave Monique there standing stunned.

"You got away this time," she said scoffing spinning around her hair moving with her movement as she walks away with her friends. They would rather take Monique fury than whatever that girl was going to unleashed on them.

Tyeeka wasn't sure if Asonya did it for her or for herself because they were disturbing her quiet spot but she was thankful. "Thank you," she said sitting down her hair wet with milk ignoring that fact she smiled. The two have been friends ever since.

"You know thinking about how we met I should have let that girl dragged you off by the hair, you're so annoying," Asonya mumbled but Tyeeka heard her anyway.

"You say that now, just yesterday you were like Tyeeka I couldn't bare to live without you," she said in a mocking Asonya voice in.

"Now you're just being delusional." Asonya crossed her hands over her chest staring over at the crowd. She didn't know that there was do much unmated wolves in the pack.

"I'm not delusional, you don't want to admit that you need me in your life." Tyeeka stated like it was a fact.

"Shh the ceremony is begining." Tyeeka didn't objected seeing that Asonya wasn't lying and it wasn't to keep her quiet.

Asonya started the count down in her head.
