Chapter 1 - Party on Arch Avenue

"Dammit Johnny, I'm gonna beat your ass!" I yelled as I ran down the street, hair and clothes soaked with cold water.

"Hahaha- yeah right, you're so small!" Johnny laughed and ran away from me as I caught up to him. I didn't join the track team for nothing...

"You punk, I'll teach you to dump cold water on someone's head!" I shouted. I gave him a swift punch to the gut. "Ow, that was uncalled for!" Johnny whined.

"Get over it, pussy." I said as I walked away. He wasn't worth my trouble anyways.

Anyways- enough of that shit, time for introductions. My name is Mike Miller, but I prefer Mikey. I'm an Omega, and I don't give two shits about nobody or nothin'. I do stuff my way, or no way. That's all you need to know about me.

Now, that shit head over there is Johnny. He's a big lug, and an Alpha at that. He picks on me all the time, just because I'm small. What a dick-head, amiright?

The life of a werewolf isn't as grand as its made out to be, but at least it's better than bein' a vamp. I hate those guys. They're all 'sophisticated' or whatever... ugh.

Johnny and I walked back to my house which lay only a block and a half away. I live with my older brother, Gavin, who also happens to be a bull-headed alpha. Our parents died back when I was a baby, so ever since then we were in and out of foster homes and shit. Probably why I don't have decent manners or whatever...

"Alright you little fire ball, we're here." Johnny announced as if I didn't fuckin' recognize my own damn house. "I know, shit head." I snapped back. He raised his hands in defeat, giving a small chuckle as he looked down at me.

He gave the door a couple knocks.

"Dont you dare hug me." I said, knowing what was about to happen next. "Aww, why not? I know you have a crush on me~." Johnny says as he wraps his stupid buff arms around me. "Shut the fuck up, right now. I do NOT have a crush on you, nor do I even like you in the slightest." I have Johnny a glare and he let go of me.

Just then, my tall, ass-hat of a brother opened the door. "Awwww, are you two bonding?" He asked, in a fake cooing tone. "Are you fuckin' mocking me?" I asked with a dead-pan expression.

"Maybe I am. What are you gonna do about it, short stack?" He asked me, laughing. "I'm gonna kick you in your fuckin' balls, that's what." I replied as I walked past both alphas.

I heard the two taller males speaking in a low voice. I couldn't make out what they were saying, but then I realized I didn't give a fuck. I walked upstairs and into my small room. It might have been tiny, but then again, so am I.

Gavin didn't even question why I was wet, but I didn't care. I don't need anybody's concern or sympathy. He doesn't care anyways, and I didn't expect him to. I quickly changed into some dry clothes and sat on the edge of my bed.

There was a sudden buzz from my phone, and then about twenty more. I picked it up to see what all the damn commotion was about. Of course it was just my stupid fake friends talking about some dumb party tonight. I almost forgot it's New Year's Eve...

I texted them back to shut the hell up as I read he other messages. They mentioned the party was up near Arch Avenue, and I knew what that meant. Vampires. I texted them to forget about the stupid party cause I wasn't goin'.

I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and then the doorknob jingle. Gavin burst through my door and looked at me. "Hey, you goin to that party on the north side of town?" His stupid loud voice projected through my small room. "What the hell Gavin, don't just bust in here like you own the place!" I shouted.

"But I do own the place..." He replied as he walked in and started touching stuff on my shelves. "So?! Leave my shit alone! Haven't you ever heard of privacy?!" I asked rhetorically as I attempted to push him out of my room. "I'm not leaving your room until you answer my damn question." He grabbed my doorframe and wouldn't let go.

"Fine- I'm not going to that stupid ass party!" I shouted. "Why not? Johnny and I ar-" "I don't give a damn what you and Johnny are doing!" I yelled before pushing him all the way out of the door.

"You're coming with us, because I don't trust you by yourself." He picked me up and hoisted me over his shoulder. "Hey, what the fuck?! I'm eighteen! I can stay home alone!!! Put me down!"

"Nope. You're going with us, because it's gonna be fun." He added with a laugh. "We're sneaking in to prank em' or possible trash the place." Gavin added with an evil grin. "What the hell Gavin, why?" I asked, still hoisted over his shoulder. "Because it's fun, and vampires are assholes."

He walked down the stairs and placed me by the door. "We're gonna leave now and head over there. It'll take us a while to drive there anyways." Gavin said, grabbing his keys and his leather jacket that he thought made him look tough. Little did he know he looked like a fuckin' moron.

I guess I have no room to talk because I look like a baby. That's the bad part about being an omega; you don't get to have the grizzled muscles and shit. Not unless you work real hard for em' anyways... but besides that I hate being an omega. Once every three months I get the burning urge to fuck, or rather get fucked... heats are annoying and honestly, painful. But I'm still a virgin- so that's a thing I guess.

By the time we reached Arch Avenue, it was 8:30, About two hours after the party started. "Alright, Cmon: get out and climb over the wall." "What?" I asked. I was not in the mood for this shit. I didn't feel great, and I sure as hell wasn't ready to crash a party.

"Cmon I help you climb over. Get on my shoulders." Gavin said as he crouched down. Whatever. If we get caught I'm blaming you and I'm leaving." "Alright, wuss." Gavin teased. "Shut the fuck up, I'm not a wuss- I'll show you!"

I stepped on his back and climbed over the short wall of what seemed to be the garden. "Alright, now open the damn gate." He said, using a hushed tone. The party wasn't too loud, and there were people near the front of the house, so we had to be quiet. I unlocked the garden gate and pushed it open. "You ok?" He asked. "Yeah- I'm fine. I just don't feel good. It's just a stomach ache, I'll be fine."

"Ok good. Now let's go." I nodded and followed him as we made our way to the back door in the dark. The music from inside could be heard now, and of course, vampires have trash taste in music, so it was something stupid like Killy Eyelash or whatever.

Gavin rattled the door handle, and opened it. "Surprised it wasn't locked, these vamps need better security." He rambled. What a dick-wad. I followed him inside, careful to conceal our presence. It absolutely reeked of alphas in here. I could feel my insides twist...

Oh dear god...
