Lucas met his gaze and saw his lips twitching.
"Are you that hurt?" Lucas asked him while tying the bandage to a knot. His actions were swift and careful. Soon enough, he was able to pull out the bullet from his wound before he used betadine and alcohol to clean and patch him up. the empty barrel of the bullet lay on the side of Nick's hand above a dirty white handkerchief.
"I-It's fine, It's just my first time getting a bullet wound... It's a new burning experience," Nicholas said after he pulled down the white shirt that was soaked in blood until it was taken off him by someone else.
"Don't use this anymore, it will only attract more zombies, change to another pair of shirts and rest first," Lucas said and turned to the side to put back the stuff that they used back into the first aid kit.
