Elliana slept until the next day. She immediately wakes up as she feels that she has enough sleep. The first thing that she sees in the morning is that the elegant aunt from yesterday was sitting on the sofa, peeling a pile of apples. Now she knows who this elegant aunt is. It is her mother, Tiffany You.
She doesn't know whether her mother is related to that You in the capital city, Vera City. Anyway, she doesn't need to know about that.
Mother You glances at her daughter and happens to see her awake, flashing a bright smile at her the moment later. She slowly gets up, puts the peeled apple on the table, and pushes the table toward her.
Mother You: "Elli, How are you feeling right now?"
Elliana: "Mom, I'm fine now."
Mother You: "Does your head still hurt? Yesterday I saw you in so much pain."
Mother You keeps asking her about her well-being and she strokes her head gently and slowly. This feeling is kind of new to Elliana as she doesn't remember the last time someone patted her head like that.
Elliana leans to Mother You's embrace as she hugs Mother You.
Elliana: "Mom, I'm alright. It's no longer hurt. Where's dad and brother?"
Mother You: "Your dad plans to stop at the company to hand over the task to the others before he comes here. As for your brother, I think I heard that he's gonna apply for the absence to keep you company."
Elliana: "I see."
Mother You: "Here, eat some apples and Mom will bring you your breakfast."
Elliana: "Okay, mom!"
The apples are peeled in a rabbit form, as the apple's skin was cut to be like rabbit ears. The first bite was sweet and chewy. It was so delicious. She keeps eating for a while then Mother You is back with her breakfast.
Mother You: "Here!"
Mother You put down the thermos food jar, as she opens the smell of the porridge inside fills the room. Her stomach, which was unresponsive a moment ago, suddenly made a noise.
*Growls*
Mother You chuckles slightly as she takes out the spoon and passes it to Elliana.
Mother You: "Eat! Otherwise, your stomach will protest."
Elliana takes the spoon from Mother You and looks at her with a confused expression.
Elliana: "Mom, if I eat this, then what about you?"
Mother You: "Don't worry. Mom has already eaten back at home."
Elliana: "So early?"
Mother You: "Silly girl, right now it is 9 o'clock in the morning. It's no longer early."
Elliana: "Oh!" 'How can she know if she doesn't look at the clock?'
Elliana starts to eat the porridge. It tastes quite good because this isn't plain porridge. She occasionally gets a piece of meat inside the porridge. For some reason, she misses eating plain porridge with soy sauce, or with fried dried fish.
She has eaten over half of the porridge inside the thermos jar when there is a knock on the door.
Mother You: "Come in."
The one who opens and comes inside is no other than her dad, Marvin Carrasco.
Father Marvin: "My baby girl, it's good that you are alright. How are you feeling?"
While he's talking to her, he pulls her gently to hug. This hug is rather warm and somehow she feels secure. This reminds her of her father on earth, although she doesn't remember if he ever gives her a hug, she still loves him and her mom.
Without Elliana realizing it, she starts sobbing as she holds on to her current dad. Mother You sees things like that hurry over to hug Elliana with her husband.
Mother You: "It's okay, darling. Everything will be fine."
Father Marvin: "Leave it to dad. Tell me and your mom everything that you want to do or want to buy. No matter what, we love you, Elli."
Mother You: "Yes, we love you, Elli. We'll always be with you."
The two people who are hugging Elliana right now don't know that the reason that Elliana cries is not because of that accident. Well, one part of the reason can be about that and another is she misses her mom and dad as she hadn't fulfilled filial piety to them yet.
Mother You and Father Marvin accompany Elliana to cry for quite a while when Elliana slowly stops crying anymore.
Mother You takes the tissue from her handbag and wipes the tears and snot on Elliana's face.
Mother You: "Look at you. Here, blow your nose."
Elliana takes the tissue from Mother You and blows the leftover snot inside her. Suddenly, she feels refreshed. She carefully looks at both Mother You and Father Marvin.
Elliana: "Mom, Dad, what're you going to do about that?"
Right after the question is asked, the atmosphere turns tense instantly. However, both Mother You and Father Marvin try to relax their expressions.
Father Marvin: "About that… Your mom and I want to ask you what you want to do about that. Don't worry, just speak your mind. No matter what you choose to do, just know your mom, me, and your brother support you."
Elliana turns silent. She doesn't know what to do. If she chooses to let it go, it is unfair to the original owner who lost her life due to those people. But, she also cannot ask for their life too. Still, she cannot choose 'an eye for an eye.'
Elliana: "About that… First I want to change schools. Second, I hope mom and dad ensure that the girl's parents know their daughter's behavior and control her strictly. Also, let her know about her actions which can ruin others as I don't want another victim after me. I think this is it."
Both Father Marvin and Mother You are silent when they hear their daughter's thoughts. Eventually, father Marvin makes a long sigh and looks at his only dear daughter.
Father Marvin: "Alright, we know what to do and we will follow your decision."
Elliana: "Thank you, dad!"
Father Marvin: "Still… I'm glad you are okay. Otherwise, your mom and I don't know what to do."
Elliana smiles at his thought as she knows that the situation can get worse if she doesn't appear and be in this body.
The family of three makes some small talk when the door is pushed open. The young man that appeared yesterday with father Marvin and mother You quickly walks toward Elliana who is still sitting on the bed, grabs her hand, and speaks to her.
The young man: "Elli, how are you doing now?"
Elliana: "I'm okay now, brother."
The young man who goes by the name Ethen Carrasco, is a sophomore at Kingston University this year, 20 years old, is a brother of Elliana.
Their family of four has reunited, they enjoy each other's company. The other 3 people decide to have lunch and dinner together with their daughter and sister in the hospital.
Elliana can leave the hospital tomorrow as the result from today's test showed that her body has been healing quite well, her complexion will slowly turn back to a normal and healthy look when she has enough nutrients.
Finally, Elliana leaves the hospital on Saturday morning. The whole family comes to take her home. Their house is located in the southern part of Plamount City where most of the elite family resident is located.
While they are driving to the house, they have told her about her new school. Her new school is called, 'Lyonhall Academy', a private senior high school, and it has been ranked as a number 1 senior high school among the high school institutes of the whole Sobet country. Due to the percentage of the top ranker of national examiners are mostly from Lyonhall Academy, that is why its rank is number 1.
After Elliana heard that, she was a little bit nervous as she didn't want to study hard as she did back when she was in Siena. Although she didn't study that hard back then, still most of the time she practiced the questions.
And now, she still needs to study harder as the school seems to emphasize the student education and score. Then she hears her parents tell her something which immediately feels relief.
Mother You: "But Elli, we don't care about your grade, we just want you to enjoy the study and your life. Just be happy. And the school also doesn't force you to study. And that is what I want, that is why your dad and I enroll you to Lyonhall Academy."
Elliana: "Thank you, mom, dad, and brother."
The three people that Elliana has mentioned just return a satisfied smile to her, which makes her smile back at them too.
From now on, Elliana can look forward to her high school life again. She will never have thought of be able to go back to the high school life and be a simple high schooler again if she did not grab that chance that the girl offered.
