When he heard that Raven had returned to the Sect , Elder Mark immediately rushed out from his Majestic Mansion and headed towards the Disciplinary Hall at full speed .
The speed of a Martial Peak Realm cultivator was too fast so he covered the distance of more than one kilometer in just three seconds

Thus Elder Mark had recieved strict orders to not favour Raven unnecessarily but ensure that he is not entangled in the power struggles inside the Sect . Still despite so much warnings , Elder Paul had the nerve to assign secret mission to Raven which could not be refused . Elder Mark came to know about this matter late and at that time Raven had already left the Sect so he was feeling helpless. He had the authority but the Sect Leader had forbade him to punish other Factions heavily because they had good backing and the profits of the Sect will suffer if the Factions decide to leave the Sect . Thus Elder Paul should feel gratified that he had managed to keep his Dog Life due to Elder Mark's hands being tied .
To avoid suspicion Elder Mark sent someone to tail Raven in secret but he failed to keep a track of Raven's movements . Even after reaching the destination of his mission The Rock Mountain , Raven finally emerged but again suddenly the subordinate lost Raven . This made Elder Raven to feel despair as he thought that Raven must have met some kind of misfortune . So when Raven actually came back to the Sect , Elder Mark was overhyped and did not hesitate to ditch the Elders Meeting and find Raven .
Raven's actions of always keeping his Divine Sense unleashed caused Elder Mark to feel such headache but Raven himself had no idea that someone was assigned to tail him and protect his life in secret if Raven encountered danger .
