Chapter 228 - Chapter 228: Myrcella 'Lannister' and Westerlands

"As for you, I heard you like the moon door. I know you would like the view." Said Edward as his men took Lysa to the moon door before throwing her down.

Now that he got rid of those pests, it was time to organize the Vale. He looked at all the lords in the hall before saying his words.

"From this moment, Robin Arryn would be the lord of Vale, but Lord Royce would take care of the things here until Robin reaches a suitable age. If anyone had anything to say, say it." Said Edward as he waited for any objection, but no one spoke. Lord Royce was respected among the nobles in the Vale, and everyone could go with that.

After Petyr Baelish's death that made the Vale finally quiet for some time, Edward stayed in the Eyrie for a month and a half since he wanted to organize the place. The Vale was his foster father's home, after all. That was why Edward decided to take care of it to the best of his abilities.

Not only that, but Edward needed to correct the young Robin's mind, which was poisoned long enough by Lysa and Baelish, and create a new path for the young boy, or else everything he did would be for nothing.

Some of you might say that Robin was Petyr Baelish's son and not Jon Arryn's. But Edward made sure that Robin was Jon's son in this life since he always had a spy following Petyr to make sure that he did not have a relationship with Lysa before having Robin.

Not only that, but Edward went as far as asking the followers of the lord of light to test it with their own methods. Since Melisandre was able to do the same with Jendry, Robert's son, Edward was sure they could do the same.

And after the test, Edward was sure that Robin was Lord Jon Arryn's son. That was why Edward took care of the boy and decided to leave him as the lord of the Vale, although he was this young.

Although Edward knew that the young boy was not fit for fighting, he still had to train him since he was the only heir to the Vale. Plus, Edward wanted to solve any future grudge that this young boy might have for him and had to explain to him why he would not see his mother again.

Edward also had to take care of Myrcella Baratheon, the daughter of Cersei and Jaimie.

Petyr Baelish was cruel enough to imprison the young girl in the Eyrie without feeding her well enough. Petyr wanted to betray the Lannister, so he only had to keep her alive. The young girl was about to die from hunger when Edward saw her. The girl was beautiful and innocent that she did not look like a Lannister at all.

At once, Edward asked some servants to take care of her until she returned to normal. That was one of the reasons why Edward stayed this long in the Eyrie. Of course, he was not going to marry this young and beautiful girl to Robin.

Edward planned to take her as his daughter by law and marry her to his last son, Orys Baratheon. All his sons had a domain for themselves already except Orys, and since Edward was about to take Westerlands for himself, he did not mind giving this land to Orys.

After a month of taking her out from the room-like prison Baelish and Lysa Arryn put her in, Edward decided to meet the girl himself. Edward would not take her as his daughter by law before knowing her real personality. He was sure that the girl had some hatred for him or something like that, especially after what had happened in Winterfell. She should still remember when he attacked her mother, father, and 'Uncle.' in front of her and Tommen.

"Do you remember me?" Asked Edward as he looked at her with a smile.

The young girl did not raise her head to look at him and just nodded her head. Edward could see how frightened she was when he entered the room when she was eating. She must have thought that her life would be even much harder now than when she was in Baelish's hands.

"You don't have to fear me, child. Your family was the one in the wrong..." Said Edward as he started explaining everything to her. Although she was eleven years old, she could understand a little. Plus, Edward wanted to brainwash her to do what he wanted.

"Do you understand now why I did it?" Asked Edward as he looked at the girl with a smile. He would do the same thing Cersei did to Sansa when the poor Sansa was in King's Landing. But Edward was not an idiot like Cersei. He would not go and fuck everything up as she did, but he would take care of the young Myrcella himself.

"I do..." Said; the girl with a hint of shyness on her face when she heard Edward's words. Edward told her that he would marry her to one of his sons since he liked her, and he wanted her as part of his family. Plus, Myrcella still had some grudge after her family shipped her to the Eyrie.

The young girl even begged her mother not to send her away and cried hard, but her mother did not listen to her words and sent her away anyway. The girl's heart was still hurting after remembering what happened at that time.

Edward did not stop at this point but decided to stay longer in the Eyrie to witness the result of the brainwashing himself. And everything went as he wanted.

Since Cersei was a protective mother, Edward managed to sway the young Lannister girl with ease. He did not face any problem, and the young girl agreed to everything he said. Just look at Tommen, and you would understand what Edward was talking about since Margaery had the young boy around her finger.

While Edward was spending his time in the Vale to merge it with his own kingdom, his armies in the Westerlands had achieved great victories and finally subdued those lords.

Not only that, but the houses that resisted and raised the rebellion against Edward had died with their own family, making the Westerlands a new and free land for a new bloodline to grow.

When Edward heard the news, he did not recall the armies back, but he instructed them to stay there since he wanted to use the Westerlands to attack Riverlands to take it from under Walder Frey's control. Edward was only waiting for his son and Arya's signal before leading the attack himself from the Eyrie as well.
