"It was a curse," Mary said bluntly.
Zack thought to say something before he clipped his mouth shut, walked a few steps away from Mary until he stood in place a screamed bloody murder. Zack then walked back to Mary with calm expression.
"Can you elaborate that? Saying it's curse really doesn't clear things with me," Zack simply said.
"My right eye is missing, so there's only a gaping hole in my head. The hole has curse placed on it, if anyone directly looks at it they'll immediately die" explained Mary.
"So... this lady is dead?" Zack ask nervously.
Mary shook her head. "No, she's still alive. She's just temporally paralyzed,"
"Paralyzed? But you just said who every looks directly will die, how she still alive," Zack asked, feeling confused.
Mary begun searched the woman's body and confiscate any dangerous items she might've hidden.
"Because my curse can't kill people who already have curses themselves," Mary spoke bluntly as pulled out pouch filled with jewels.
"Curses themselves? You mean to tell me this crazy bitch is curse too?!" Zack laughed slightly.
"You do realize you have a curse too, right?" Mary remarked with a smirk.
"I'm fully aware of that! But... how did you know that? I never mentioned my curse to you yet," Zack said as he stepped back slowly.
Mary then filled the woman faced to the ground. Mary moved her hair to the side, to reveal a black marking shaped as a fly on the back of the woman's neck.
"What is that?" Zack questioned while he kept his distance.
"It's a demon's curse mark, and base on the look of it. She was cursed by a Demon General," Mary said as she continued to examine the marking.
"Demon General? You mean highest ranking demons who work for the Demon Lord?!" Zack gasped in disbelief.
"Yes," Mary said bluntly.
Zack eyes widen and covered his mouth than collapsed onto his knees. "Holy shit!"
"Everyone who cursed by the Generals all have these marking printed on the back of their necks," Mary said before she returned the woman on her back.
"Everyone?" Zack said with shaky hands.
Mary walked up to Zack than sat down in front him. "Everyone,"
Zack felt then sence of fear begun to crawl up his skin until he was pulled Mary's gentle embrace. Zack did not pull away, instead he leaned into Mary's embrace. He held onto Mary tightly, while Mary traced over the black marking on Zack's neck.
