Sierra could feel a subtle shift in her interactions with Nathan the next morning. And it wasn't a good thing.
He wasn't outwardly angry or anything and remained as cordial as ever but he wasn't as...what was the word...warm? Friendly? Open? Not that he was ever all that open to begin with considering she discovered a horrendous secret of his by accident the day before since he refused to tell her personally.
He would answer direct questions and say what needed to be said but nothing else. The most he spoke was to Leta and Jayden once they met up for breakfast in the lobby. He included her in the conversation only when necessary.
Sierra knew this was her fault and needed to apologize properly but she couldn't exactly do that while others were present. She needed to explain herself and her bad reaction yesterday better.
