Hannah rejoined the adults at the table in time to catch the tail end of the conversation. "Who's this that Sierra likes?"
"Nathan Grant, my favorite author," Scarlett piped up.
Sierra wished the ground could swallow her whole. She did NOT like Nathan. Why did her sister have to tease her in front of their entire family? Now they were all going to give her a hard time about him too!
"I don't like him! You got this ridiculous idea in your head because we keep bumping into each other but that's all. We aren't anything more than acquaintances," she insisted.
"That's what you say but I know better."
Ugh, what would it take to get Scarlett off the Sierra and Nathan train? She honestly didn't like him! He was too rigid and paranoid. The two of them had absolutely nothing to talk about either.
He was a nice person but absolutely not her type. Why couldn't her stupid sister see that and get off her case?
