Not every detail about Boss Evolutions was known, as Players preferred not to let a Boss Evolve. However, some NPCs and Players had made their research over the subject, and other than an increase in the rewarded Exp, nothing much was to be gained by killing them. Although if body parts of said Bosses were used for alchemical or similar usages, their ptency would increase with Evolution but not in a huge degree. It wasn't worth the risk of letting them go through many Evolutions, as the power increment wasn't linear.
