Price had started his fight with the Boss while it summoned a dozen Spirit Beasts to fight the intruders. Shingi had his Golems fight the Spirits while he created EARTH SPIKES to disturb the movements and escape routes of the Boss.
Shingi knew that the Teleportation of the Boss had a specific range that was usually around 4 meters but was currently boosted. So he calculated it to be 10 meters, but he tried to cover even more.
It couldn't teleport in mid-air, just in a place with flat ground, which was why Shingi used EARTH SPIKES. He didn't keep them short but made them as tall as he could, between a meter or two. It currently looked like stalagmites were all around the place.
