Evangeline returns home, she was exhausted after the day she had, dealing with her sister and then auditioning for a huge entertainment company. In actual fact she had been holding it all back, "father, mother she's returned." Ragena says a look of contempt on her face. Evangeline analyzed the situation with her eyes, what on earth is this about? She can't think of anything she did, but Ragena probably made up some kind of scheme in order to get her in trouble. "Ah Vangie is it true that you agreed to go to a party tomorrow with Ragena?" Her father asks.
Seriously? This is what she got up her sleeve? "A party? "I don't..." she began. "No need to lie, as the older sister you should go to this party as you said. Did you think we would be angry?" Mother shook her head and gave her a smile. It seems there was no getting out of this party again. It was the same party where she thought the guy she loved was into her as well, she will not fall for the same tricks twice. Evangeline nods at her parents before hugging the goodnight, Ragena right behind her.
Ragena smirks, no one told you to piss me off by joining the entertainment business. I'll make you regret ever crossing my path as if we are equals. Evangeline could pratically feel her glare on her back, let's ignore it for now. "Sister are you mad at me?" Ragena ask, here she goes with that innocent act again, will she play until the end? Evangeline turns to her sister and smiles sweetly, "Of course I'm not mad at you, as a matter of fact a party sounds like a great idea." She lies. But that was only because she had her own plan, there is no way she'll let this unfilial little sister of hers continue to act this way.
Ragena turns away a look of hatred on her face, it's a good thing she agreed because she will make sure Evangeline never leaves the party untouched. She'll tell mother and father and then they'll pull her out of the entertainment center. If Ragena's lucky they may even punish her and keep her locked up forever. Ragena clenches her fist as the hatred blinded her from thinking straight, don't blame me for going so far, big sister!
Evangeline's Bedroom 8:50 pm
"What! Wow that sister of yours have no shame!" Kamie yells over the phone. Evangeline holds the phone from her ear as Kamie continues to call Ragena every name in the book. "So what are you going to do? If you go to that part Ragena will definitely do something." She says. Evangeline places the phone back to her ear and plops down onto the bed. She rolls to her stomach before speaking, "don't worry about it too much, I have my own plans." Evangeline had already told Kamie everything, well besides reborn back to the past, she couldn't say that just yet.
"I always did feel like she was pretending to be nice, I really don't see how you deal with her." Kamie was saying. Evangeline could picture her standing by the closet trying to find clothes or tomorrow's party, it was just like her. Kamie says it was best to have an ally beside her to help fight her battles, if she knew that back then she would have never chosen her boyfriend over such an awesome friendship. They laughed over the phone for a hour before they finally ended the call, Evangeline rolls to her back to stare at ther ceiling.
Tomorrow she will show her little sister that she will no longer be easy, this fight between them will have to end. If it doesn't one of them will die, and even if Ragena is like this she still loved her dearly. If only she knew why it ended up like this, why did she change s much from when they were kids? Evangeline felt her eyes drooping from tiredness, she wanted to ask her those questions ever since she was reborn
The Next Morning
Evangeline sat up and yawned, stretching her arms above her head before finally getting out of her bed. Today was a Saturday, she already had plans to hang out with Kamie the majority of the day before going to that party. Her celphone jingles, it was an unknown number, she answers as she's brushing her teeth, "hello?" She asks her mouth full of toothpaste. "Is this Evangeline Valkyrie? This is Neigin Entertainment we're calling about the results of your auditions, is this not a good time?" Evageline spits the past out immediately and rushes out of her room so fast that she almost trips, "ah no this is the perfect time." She says feeling her heart thump wildly in her chest.
"I'm glad, I just wanted to congradulate you on getting the part as the female lead Miss Valkyrie." The woman says. Evangeline wasn't sure if she heard her right, "wait, did you say I got the part?" She asks feeling numb. This can't be real. It was all she could think as the call rolled over to a schedule for her to meet her new manager and to sign her contract for the company. "Thank you for the call." Evangeline says as she hangs up. Was this for real? She immediately calls Kamie and tells her the news. She was way more excited than Evangeline herself who was just dazed.
'You have to rub it in Ragena's face." Kamie says evily. Evangeline chuckles, "there's no need, she auditioned for the same part. Once she learns she didn't get it she'll freak." She says. Kamie laughs, "I want to see the look on her face, wonder if she can continue hiding her real self." Kamie says with a chuckle. "indeed that would be satisfying."
